2023 was truly a significant year in the athlete's career. Before announcing his return to golf as the PGA Tour Money Leader honoree, Erica Herman withdrew her legal action against him.

The plaintiff reportedly filed a notice in Florida's Fourth District Court of Appeal, formally indicating that she was retracting her previous statements.

The situation began six months ago when Herman sought to invalidate a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) she had signed at the onset of their six-year relationship.

In her court filings, she accused Tiger of sexual assault, affirming this by selecting "yes" in response to a question about sexual abuse allegations.

The plaintiff referenced the Speak Out Act as a basis for invalidating the NDA, arguing that it offers protection to victims of sexual assault or harassment. However, a judge dismissed her claims, describing them as "vague" and lacking the necessary details to support allegations of sexual assault or harassment.

Consequently, Herman decided to drop her case after appealing the judge's ruling. In the new filing, she retracted the sexual assault allegation against Tiger, revealing that she had never been a victim of sexual abuse or harassment by him or any of his associates.

Herman had also previously filed a lawsuit for approximately $30 million against the golfer, claiming compensation after she was allegedly evicted from his mansion following their breakup.

She asserted that there was an "oral agreement" permitting her to reside there for a total of eleven years, with five years remaining after their separation. However, Tiger's legal team refuted her claims. Eventually, Herman decided to drop her appeal and withdraw the lawsuit.

Her death comes nearly 19 years after his father, Earl Woods, passed away from cancer in 2006. Tiger acknowledged her deep love for her family, including his two children, daughter Sam and son Charlie.

He also thanked friends and fans for their condolences and support during this difficult time, concluding with a heartfelt message to his mother: "Love you mom."

Tiger has cherished memories of his mother, particularly her influence on his choice of clothing for golf events. As shared by The Blast, the golfer disclosed that his mother believed that red was his power color due to his Capricorn zodiac sign.

He admitted adopting the ideology by wearing red during some of his junior tournaments in Southern California, leading to his success.

Despite initially rebelling against her advice by wearing blue to some events, he quickly learned that his mother's guidance held; after switching back to red, his triumphs returned.

Speedy recovery, Tiger Woods!
