Brown's comments come over a week after she shared a video on social media calling out the authors who had written articles about her appearance.

Amid her press tour for Netflix's "The Electric State," Brown debuted a new look featuring a blonde '90s blowout and retro-inspired outfits.

In her video, Millie Bobby Brown specifically called out articles that criticized her new look. She highlighted headlines such as "Why are Gen Zers like Millie Bobby Brown ageing so badly?" by Lydia Hawken and "What Has Millie Bobby Brown Done to Her Face?" by John Ely.

She also condemned a piece titled "Millie Bobby Brown Mistaken for Someone’s Mom as She Guides Younger Sister Ava Through LA," written by Cassie Carpenter.

Brown expressed her frustration over these stories, labeling them as harmful rather than journalistic. "This isn’t journalism. This is bullying," she declared.

She also pointed out the irony of female writers participating in the criticism, saying, "We always talk about uplifting and supporting young women, but when it comes down to it, it seems easier to tear them down for clicks."
