A four-year-old Wisconsin boy wasn't pleased that his mom ate his ice cream and wanted her punished for her "crime," so he called 911 to report her.

When a dispatcher picked up the little tot's call and asked about his emergency, he said his mom was "being bad."

Eventually, an adult began speaking to the dispatcher and explained the situation. However, two female officers visited the boy's residence to confirm there was no foul play. They also surprised him with his treasured dessert the next day.

An audio of the four-year-old's conversation with the dispatcher who responded to his 911 call was obtained by WCAX.

The dispatcher said, "Hello, this is Racine County 911. What's the address of the emergency." However, the boy replied, "My mom is being bad." The dispatch responded, "OK, what's going on?" The boy replied, "Come get my mommy."

The dispatch answered, "Do you know your – Hi, what's going on over there?" At this time, a woman had apparently taken the phone from the boy and responded to the dispatch.

The woman explained, "Oh, this little one got the phone, and he's four." She added, "And so we're trying to catch him because he said he was gonna call 911."

Officers Gardinier And Ostergaard Visit The Wisconsin Boy's Residence After 911 Call

Although the Wisconsin boy's mom clarified the situation, two officers from the Village of Mount Pleasant Police Department visited the boy's residence to ensure no foul play was involved.

AP obtained a video of one of the officer's body cam when they arrived at his home.

In the clip, the officers were met at the door by the boy's mom, who was surprised that the police "came for real." One of the officers explained, "We have to just come check to make sure everything's okay."

The boy's mom then beckoned for him to come, after which the officer asked him some questions. She asked, "Did you call the police?" The boy replied, "Yeah."

When the officer asked him why he called the police, the boy replied, "I told my mommy to go to jail. I didn't get ice cream."

The little boy's younger baby brother appeared while the officers questioned him, causing one of them to say, "It's so hard to yell at them."

The officers then educated the boy that he shouldn't call 911 "unless it's a real emergency." They also asked his mom why he called, and she answered, "I ate his ice cream."

The officers then joked, "Mommy has to go to jail." One of them asked the boy if they should take his mom to jail for eating his ice cream. He replied, "Yes."

Afterward, they playfully helped the cute tot to handcuff his mom.

As the officers exited the home, they asked the boy to call whenever he needed them. The officer added, "Let's not take mom to jail next time, okay?" and he replied, "Okay."
