Nicolas Cage Off The Hook In Ex's Lawsuit Amid Pressing On Against Their Son

Nicolas Cage's ex, Christina Fulton, has nothing on him as the court clears him of any charges.

The star actor has reportedly been dropped from the lawsuit filed against him and his son, Weston Coppola Cage, by his former partner.

Nicolas Cage's ex, Christina Fulton's, lawsuit was filed after she claimed to have been attacked by their son, who suffers from mental health issues, in April 2024.

Recent court documents reveal that the actor has been cleared of any wrongdoing in connection with a lawsuit filed by Christina.

In her allegations, she claimed that her estranged husband disregarded their son's mental health issues and instead enabled his troubling behavior, which culminated in a physical attack on her in April 2024.

While Nicolas has been dismissed from the lawsuit, the claims against Weston are still active. An attorney for Christina filed the request to dismiss the claims against Nicolas.

Since these claims were dismissed with prejudice, Christina cannot pursue them any further.In response, Nicolas's attorney described the allegations as "absurd and frivolous."

Per PEOPLE, the legal rep emphasized that Weston, the 34-year-old involved, is responsible for his actions and that Nicolas should not be held accountable for any alleged assault on Weston's mother.

On April 28, 2024, a verbal dispute between Weston and Christina reportedly escalated into a physical altercation. However, Christina denied the allegations, claiming that there was no argument between her and her son.

Instead, she suggested that he was experiencing mental health issues and that she was trying to get him help.

As shared by The Blast, Christina openly expressed the pain she has experienced over the past months as she returned to court. She described herself as heartbroken, particularly highlighting her feelings as a mother during the challenging time.

In a poignant reflection on her experiences, Christina expressed deep frustration towards the LAPD, holding them accountable for their inaction during her time of need. "I called you for help," she recalled, emphasizing the pain of being left on the ground bleeding after the alleged assault. 

Despite the severity of the situation, she insists that her motivations are rooted in love, stating, "I'm here again as a mother. I love my son, tough love." She also drew attention to the widespread mental health crisis impacting families across the country. 

As a mother and a concerned fellow, Christina's reflection also extended to Nicolas' role in the breakdown of their son's attitude.

She revealed that Nicolas had blocked her, highlighting that there was an ongoing rift between them. Christina also noted that the monetary supply from Nicolas to Weston did not stop, even when it seemed like the best way to curb his excesses.

Christina expressed, "He is his father," to underscore her belief that Nicolas should have intervened in their son's struggles earlier. 

She also claimed that Nicolas consistently bailed the musician out of jail after prior incidents and even chose to consume alcohol with him despite being aware of his struggles with substance abuse.

As the legal battle unfolds, it is clear that the actor's ex is committed to ensuring that those she believes are responsible face consequences. Sadly, that is not Nicolas's cross to bear anymore.

The musician joyfully announced his engagement last week, sharing heartfelt selfies with his fiancée. The Blast noted that he also expressed his profound admiration for her in a lengthy caption on Instagram, declaring:

"I love you more than any man has ever loved in the history of humanity." 

He described their bond as a "god-given divine cosmic phenomenon," reminiscing about how he envisioned her long ago while asking for guidance from God. 

The couple, born in the same hospital, look forward to changing the world together. He reflected on how their deep, mystical connection has positively influenced his life, stating that his sobriety feels effortless now. He wrote

"The way it was always supposed to be shall always be, and I love you galaxies above human love. You get the greatest version of me and that shall exist within my art as well."

The musician concluded by promising to channel his love into his art, eagerly anticipating the release of his love songs dedicated to her.

Weston's upcoming marriage to Jenifer would be his fourth attempt at finding a life mate after launching their relationship last year.

His first marriage was to musician Nikki Williams in 2011, but they separated the following year without having children. Weston then married Danielle Cage in 2013, and together, they had two sons, Lucian and Sorin, born in 2014 and 2016, respectively. However, this marriage also ended in 2016. 

Weston's third marriage was to Hila Cage Coppola in 2018, and they welcomed twin daughters, Venice Zohar and Cyress Zara, in 2020. Ultimately, they divorced in July 2024. 

Now, at 34, Weston, the oldest child of Nicolas, whom he shares with ex-partner Christina, is getting ready to tie the knot with the love of his life.
