Jennifer Garner's Boyfriend Gets Into The Exes Game Amid Ben Affleck Rumors

John Miller took a leaf off his girlfriend Jennifer Garner's book and spent time with his ex-wife Caroline Campbell.

The businessman was spotted in his former partner's company as speculation continues to buzz on the close relationship between Garner and Ben Affleck.

Rumors about Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck rekindling their romance started heating up after they shared a quick hug at their child's birthday party over a week ago.

The former couple appeared cordial as they headed towards a car and sped off. Miller looked laid back in a casual fit featuring a wine hoodie paired with a white and blue face cap.

His musician ex-wife trailed behind in a gray hoodie and black face cap over her bright blonde tresses. While it is unclear what the duo were up to, the wine color of the car they hopped into blended perfectly with Miller's outfit.

The estranged couple's rare outing came a week after Affleck and Garner spent time together at Samuel's 13th birthday party

TMZ shared that Affleck leaned in for a quick side-hug with Garner, wrapping his arms around her waist as she held her paintball gun up, focused on the game. Before cameras caught their hug, the ex-couple appeared engrossed in a serious conversation.

The Blast shared that the businessman was reportedly unaffected by rumors of a reunion, as he fully trusts his girlfriend. According to an insider from the businessman's camp:

"Ben and Jen] hug a lot and show physical affection. And while there's a lot of people hoping they'll get back together, it's not going to happen."

According to sources, Garner is content that her ex-husband has found inner peace, but she is madly in love with her partner, Miller. Despite receiving numerous questions from friends about the dynamics between Garner and Affleck, Miller reportedly remains confident that the actress is all in with him. 

He understands the nature of their relationship, recognizing that Garner's loyalty lies with him while she also supports the father of her children. Miller's confidence in their relationship makes him feel secure, even in light of Garner's past.

"That's just who Jen is. It's not for everyone, but John is very confident in what he has with Jen. He's not concerned," the source noted.

The split from Lopez came with healing for the director, as he and Garner are now in a better place than ever. Affleck and the movie star, who were married for over a decade, have successfully maintained a positive relationship focused on their children.

Despite facing various challenges, they prioritize family and have created a supportive environment for their kids. Affleck has expressed gratitude towards Garner for her consistent support and for speaking highly of him in front of their children.

"He credits her for being supportive, which she didn't have to do, and never dogging him out to their children. Yes, she's had to be brutally honest at times about their father, but it was always done in an empathetic and loving way," the source explained.

The Academy Award winner is also in awe of Garner's excellent parenting technique, specifically her ability to be very empathetic. Her nature has reportedly created a better relationship between the filmmaker and their three children.

Since he dissolved his marriage from the "Jenny From The Block" singer, he has been spending time with Garner and his kids. They even spent Thanksgiving and Christmas together as a family.

It is reportedly of utmost importance to Garner that her children get to experience the beauty of celebrating special seasons with loved ones, as she was raised that way.

"It's all for the kids. Jen grew up surrounded by her family for the holidays, and she wants the same for her kids," a source close to the family shared. Garner and Affleck are proud parents to Samuel, 13, Seraphina, 16, and Violet, 19. They also do a great job of keeping them away from social media.

For Miller, his initial hope that Affleck's divorce would mean a change in his closeness to Garner was dashed. Instead, the estranged couple got closer, but he reportedly respects it and knows the actress needs to be there for Affleck and their children.

He now reportedly struggles with sharing his partner with Affleck, always around her. The company CEO has opted to stay silent amid his struggles to understand this friendship, but he is still very much concerned.

Miller is even comfortable with the actor taking on a fatherly role but wishes to emphasize his position as the primary partner in their relationship. He mentions Affleck only when Garner or their children bring him up, choosing not to initiate discussions about him alone.

Garner and Miller's on-and-off relationship began in 2018, shortly after her separation from the 52-year-old two-time BAFTA Awardee.
