Khloé Kardashian Reportedly Working To Achieve Hope Of Seeing Brother Rob 'Come Out Of His Shell'

Khloé Kardashian wants her brother, Rob Kardashian, to become a social butterfly again!

"The Kardashians" star is reportedly trying her hardest to get the father-of-one to embrace public life and regain his confidence like earlier. She is pretty relentless in her resolve.

Rob Kardashian completely recoiled from being outgoing after the family's show "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" wrapped up its last season on E! in 2021.

Khloé is reportedly on a superhero mission to pull Rob out of his shell nearly four years after he decided to go entirely incognito. She is said to be pulling all the strings, and a few family members are still interested in giving Rob a social identity.

According to an inside source: 'Khloé is completely ride or die with Rob, she always has been, and she's still convinced she can help get him back to the outgoing, confident guy he used to be.

The source added that Khloé hates the fact that her brother's "spirit has been so broken down by life, and she feels like it's her duty to do everything in her power to help him fix that."

Rob chose to disappear from the public scene following years of struggling with cameras around, comments about his weight from fans, and constant hounding from the media over his looks. At some point, he reportedly became terrified of being pictured or caught in public by spectators.

As In Touch reported, the TV star even began wearing masks and disguises in public to avoid attention and prevent people from recognizing him. Khloé reportedly finds this behavior very hard to comprehend.

The two siblings maintained a very close bond as kids and even well into their adult years. Khloé's dedication to getting her brother back on track over the years has earned her the "savior complex" tag.

"People have accused her of having a savior complex when it comes to Rob, but she doesn't see it that way at all," the source continues.

"You have to remember these two were so close all their lives, like twins almost, so the bond is very, very strong. She can't just shrug her shoulders and forget about him while he lives like a hermit," the insider added.

Last December, another insider revealed that Khloé's concern about Rob's lifestyle peaked, and she asked him to move into a wing of her expansive L.A. home in order for him to be closer to her, and the kids, including his daughter, Dream Kardashian.

"She's got him living in a wing of her house. It's great for Dream and for True, who loves having her cousin there, but it's also a big relief for Khloé to be able to check on Rob all the time, just to make sure he's not lonely, that he's getting outside for walks or to the gym," the source shared.

Khloé, as a supportive big sister, is focused on helping her brother regain his comfort in the public eye this year. She has taken initial steps by inviting him to make rare appearances on her podcast, "Khloé in Wonderland."

Starting with a phone call as a first step, she hopes to eventually have him join her for a longer interview and, ultimately, to come into the studio for a full sit-down discussion.

In January, The Blast shared that Kris was willing to drag her only son back into the spotlight as Rob's overtly private life was bothering her. The momager even wants him back on their reality show on Hulu.

An insider noted that Kris is trying to get Rob to "start living life again," as she never envisaged a situation where he would still be "hiding out at home all these years" after he stepped back from the show.

The source continued that the mother of six is heartbroken about the situation and is "desperate to convince him to come out of his shell." Another insider added that Khloé's house is the only place Rob feels comfortable visiting outside his home.

He usually brings his daughter to spend time with the fitness expert and her cousins, True and Tatum. He welcomed the adorable bundle of joy with his ex, Blac Chyna, who was born Angela White. 

Aside from Kris's worry about Rob's distant lifestyle, she also addresses things from a business perspective. According to an inside source, the socialite argued that "it will be good for his state of mind to be out and about more and even participate more in the show because the fans really want to see him."

Kris is convinced her only son would be shocked at how excited the family show's fanbase and general public will be glad to see him living life so freely again.

She also thinks their reality show could use his magic touch when he becomes socially active again. However, the insider noted that the socialite also has some blame to carry for her son's current preferred lifestyle.

Kim Kardashian and Kourtney Kardashian have reportedly been telling her for years that she is enabling the entrepreneur by letting him get comfortable with staying indoors and living a reclusive life. The insider added that the momager is now starting to see their perspective.

The youngest Kardashian sent tongues wagging in August 2022 when he commented on a captivating image of his older sister. The "Good American" co-founder looked sharp in a long-sleeved turtleneck, leather pants, and matching boots ensemble, which flaunted her endearing curves.

Rob could not hold back his pride as he commented 'My pretty princess sparkly girl" under the image, sending some fans into a frenzy. The father-of-one usually does nothing but upload images of Dream on his personal Instagram page.

While some fans were starstruck about Rob breaking his social media hiatus, others believed Kris used Rob's account to comment under his sister's picture.

The comment also came a day after Khloé congratulated her brother's ex, Adrienne Bailon, on welcoming a baby with her husband and gospel singer, Israel Houghton.
