Pop superstar Justin Bieber continues his streak of cryptic messages after his recent controversial outings caused fans to express concern about his behavior.
In a new post on social media, the singer took a defiant stance against his critics as he noted he has "nothing to prove" to anyone.
This comes after Justin Bieber's rep blasted reports that the singer was using "hard drugs" and stated that his disheveled appearance was due to a lack of sleep.
Justin Bieber Shares Cryptic Post: 'We Don't Owe Anyone Anything'

Justin took to his Instagram Stories on Saturday to share an image with a message seemingly expressing his feelings regarding the latest flood of criticisms he has been facing due to photos and videos of him smoking and looking gaunt.
The message read, "WE HAVE NOTHING TO PROVE TODAY JUST THE GIFT OF LIFE TODAY TO ACCEPT AND RECEIVE."
It continued, "NOTHING IS OWED TO US AND WE DONT OWE ANYONE ANYTHING," ending with a red heart emoji.
In a previous post, Bieber also slammed people who "talk sh-t" with a message reference Jesus Christ.
He wrote, "Jesus didn't heal his best friend Lazareth [sic] right away. Even tho he knew people would talk sh-t, saying how could he be god if he didn't heal his best friend? But Jesus wasn't trying to please everyone and didn't allow people to rush him. He knew what he was capable of."
The Singer Shared Photos Of Himself Smoking A Bong

Justin left many of his fans scratching their heads again when he shared photos of himself smoking from a bong while on an electric bike.
In the post from his recent Idaho getaway, where he rang in his 31st birthday with family, Justin donned a burgundy hoodie, black sweatpants, and brown boots and can be seen holding the glass tube as smoke comes from his mouth.
The post was set to the song "Hits From The Bong" by Cypress Hill, which features lyrics about preparing and smoking marijuana using a bong.
Before this post, the singer had been causing a stir during his recent public outings, as he was seen looking gaunt and disheveled. On one particular occasion, Justin was spotted wearing a pale blue bathrobe, leaving a bathhouse. This made fans worry about his well-being and his marriage to Hailey Bieber.
Fans Slam Justin Bieber Over Videos And Photos Of Him Smoking

Fans have been very critical of the singer since he began making posts of himself smoking and getting "high," with several claiming he was setting a "bad example" for his child.
One person wrote on Instagram, "Just keep in mind whatever you post is forever. Your child will see it someday."
"You need to grow up and start acting like a father. He's priority now not your weed and not your friends," another fan wrote.
A third person noted, "I feel like I'm watching Britney Spears/ Amanda Bynes meltdown and everyone's just laughing and cheering him on. We need to do better as a society. He's clearly spiraling, and it's heartbreaking."
Justin Bieber's Rep Calls Out Reports That He Is Using 'Hard Drugs'

A rep for Justin has since addressed the rumors and speculations that have plagued the singer over the past few months due to his public appearances.
The rep told TMZ that the rumors are "absolutely not true," and Justin is starting to feel drained by the reports that he is struggling with his mental and physical health.
"The recurring narrative that Justin is using hard drugs is absolutely not true," the rep told the news outlet, adding that his client is actually "in one of the best places in his life."
They noted that Justin is focused on "actively parenting his newborn son," Jack Blues, whom he welcomed in August with his wife, Hailey, and working on making new music.
The Singer's Friends Want Him To Get His Act Together

Despite his rep's remarks, Justin's "concerned" friends reportedly want him to get his act together amid fears for his well-being.
Following the video where he was seen smoking, two sources close to the singer told The U.S. Sun that they fear he has reverted to "acting like a teenager" and is "losing touch with reality."
"It's concerning," the first source said. "[Justin] is 30 years old now; he's an adult and should be taking better care of himself. He knows everyone scrutinizes him."
"For a guy who used to work out and eat healthy, it's strange to see him like this," the source said. "I'm not the only one telling him that he doesn't look great—not for his fans, not for the public. His image as a dad isn't great; he looks like he's aged 10 years."
Another source, who had worked with Justin as a fitness expert, said the star is "behaving like a rebellious teenager," which is "very frustrating" for those who continue to support him.
"He has to get his sh-t together and return to the inspirational figure he was before," the source added. "He needs to be on his A-game."
