Nick and Vanessa Lachey Will Have Their Hands Full At The 'Love Is Blind' Season 8 Reunion

It seems Nick Lachey and his wife, Vanessa Lachey, will have a lot to talk about during the season 8 reunion of "Love Is Blind."

On The Netflix reality show, couples get engaged without seeing what the other looks like and then go on a honeymoon retreat to see if their physical connection is as strong as their emotional bond. Although past seasons have resulted in a few marriages (and even a few babies!), this season, which was centered in Minnesota, left a lot to be desired in terms of drama.

Instead, it seems that most of the drama is going to go down during the "Love Is Blind" season 8 reunion.

This one shouldn’t come as much as a surprise to “Love Is Blind” fans, as we literally see Sara running back to a waiting car in the marriage finale teaser. The two were on completely separate pages as far as religion and activism are concerned, leading Sara to turn Ben down at the altar.

Although he still wanted to date after the marriage, it looks like Sara is having doubts about that. She also seemed to have doubts about his integrity after a TikTok video surfaced, with one of his alleged exes claiming that he mistreated her in the past. There’s also a rumor that Ben used to give out business cards advertising his YouTube channel to women he hooked up with.

While this is not addressed on the show, given how much attention it’s gained online, it’s certainly going to come up during the reunion, as well as their current relationship status. We’re going to go out on a limb here and say that the two have not been dating beyond the altar.

Joey and Monica were the first couple of the season to get engaged and seemed completely happy with each other. The biggest element of drama came from Monica’s sister, who felt that Joey wasn’t completely giving his all to the relationship. Even though they seemed to have put those fears to bed, their emotional bond just wasn’t enough to make them say “I do.”

On their wedding day, Monica told Joey, “I don’t,” adding, “We’re not quite there.” Joey agreed with her, saying that although he was in love with her, he needed to be one hundred percent in, and was “also not one hundred percent at this time.”

Despite the breakup, they appeared to be on good terms and even exchanged a hug after that awkward encounter at the altar. We wouldn’t be surprised if the two were still trying to make it work, just taking their relationship at their own pace.

The biggest drama for Virginia and Devin came from the discussion of whether or not they needed a prenup. This seemed to largely fizzle out after the bachelor/bachelorette party, where Devin said that he sat down with a lawyer and his family, and everyone seemed to accept that it was the right idea.

Devin seemed eager to get married and said his vows first, telling Virginia “I do” at the altar. Unfortunately, Virginia responded with, “I’m just not ready.” In a confessional, she explained:

"There were just depth of our relationships we didn't get to... even our sexual relationship, we just didn't get to it. I think we should be all the way there before we decide to spend the rest of our lives together."

Even though Devin said that he couldn’t “understand why” she turned him down at the altar, it looks like there’s more to the story than the audience is privy to in that episode. In the teaser, Virginia reveals, “The night before the wedding, I saw a note from his ex-girlfriend on his nightstand.”

Fans would have loved to see that encounter before she decided to walk down the aisle, but it definitely seems to have played a major role in their breakup. We’re guessing that this is going to get a lot of time during the reunion.

Taylor and Daniel, or as I liked to refer to them, the “Christmas couple,” almost didn’t make it to their honeymoon when Taylor accused him of following, and then unfollowing, her on Instagram prior to the show. Obviously, this is a huge issue since the show is based on finding love when you don’t know what your partner looks like.

After producers gave her back her phone to guarantee that he had never followed her on social media (love these days, am I right?), they headed off on their honeymoon and later exchanged their vows at the altar. Considering how the show filmed their Christmas card photoshoot, it seems doubtful that they were going to go their separate ways.

We’re pretty sure that they are still together and will be the least-talked-about couple on the show, given their lack of drama. Given that they were both excited to start a family, Vanessa Lachey may be thrilled to get the news of another “Love Is Blind” baby on the way.

“Love Is Blind” season 8 is now available to stream in full on Netflix. Although fans used to have to wait weeks to see the reunion, it will be airing on Sunday, March 9, only two days after the wedding episode was released.

The reunion will be available to stream starting at 9 PM ET or 6 PM PT, so fans won’t have to wait long to see the drama unfold.

And for those who weren’t a fan of this season, there are at least two more seasons on the way. Will we finally get a season that results in zero marriages? I guess we'll just have to wait and find out!
