Jennifer Lopez Reportedly Feels 'Betrayed' After Video Captured Ben Affleck Hugging Jennifer Garner

Jennifer Lopez is said to feel "betrayed" over her ex-husband Ben Affleck "spending more time" with Jennifer Garner.

The revelation comes after Affleck was spotted cozying up to Garner during an outing with their kids, along with earlier reports that the two have been communicating far more than before.

A video capturing the intimate moment between Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner has since sparked rumors of a potential romance brewing between the former couple.

In the wake of a viral video of Affleck and Garner getting cozy during a paintballing outing, a source has revealed that the actor's ex-wife, Lopez, feels "betrayed."

"[JLo] saw the paintballing images when the rest of the world did, and of course it will make her question things from their time together," the insider told the Daily Mail. "Her friends have questioned how platonic Jen [Garner] and Ben are."

They added, "She will feel betrayed because she invested so much time in supporting Ben through his challenges and had a rough year as their marriage broke down."

Speaking further the source claimed Lopez now feels even worse with regard to some of the concerns she had about her ex-husband's closeness to the mother of his kids.

"Seeing how quickly he has started spending more time with Garner has exacerbated the concerns she already had about his relationship with her while they were married," the insider continued.

Several weeks ago, reports swirled that Affleck and Garner have been spending more time communicating with each other, far more than ever.

Recently, insiders close to the duo claimed that they might be considering reigniting their romance.

While neither Affleck nor Garner have publicly said anything of these rumors, a source close to the "Accountant" star shared insight into why he has communicated more with Garner after his amicable divorce from Lopez.

"It became very clear to Ben after he reunited with J.Lo that she was not 'the one who got away.' She was also not the love of his life. Jen [Garner] was," the insider told the Daily Mail.

According to the insider, these feelings seemingly became clearer as Garner helped Affleck navigate his split from Lopez, especially during tough emotional moments.

The source added, "Jen was there for him through his split, and she will always be there for him. They are best friends, and they share children together."

Regardless of Affleck's feelings, a romantic union with the mother of his kids might not be in the works for now for several reasons.

"Ben just got out of a marriage and finalized his divorce [from Jennifer Lopez], he is really busy with work and is focused on this new chapter," an insider recently shared with Page Six.

Apart from the events in his personal life, Affleck has no intention to take any action, as he "respects" Garner's current relationship with John Miller.

Even if the circumstances were different, Garner is not prepared to rekindle a romance with Affleck, particularly because she is content and fulfilled in her relationship with the tech CEO.

"The feeling is not mutual on Jen's side. She's happy with John and that's just not where her head is at," another insider shared. "She has a great co-parenting relationship with Ben, and that's where things stand on her end at the moment."

As time goes on, it is expected that Garner and Affleck will maintain their closeness.

However, seeing this bond and all it entails has reportedly made Miller uncomfortable. However, he is said to be willing to overlook it as he understands that Affleck and Garner share a unique relationship as exes.

"Does it bother John when he sees the two of them being touchy-feely? Sure," an inside shared.

The source continued, "It would get to anyone, but this is nothing new. Ben and Jen have a unique relationship, especially for exes. He loves her more than any woman he has ever loved besides his mom. Ben will always flirt with Jen, and she sees it as innocent."

The Cali Group CEO reportedly hopes she'll reconsider her closeness with Affleck now that his divorce from Lopez has been finalized.

"John is trying to deal with Ben and Jen's relationship by mostly staying quiet, but it's very hard to do that," a source told the Daily Mail. "He knows that Ben has to be around as a father and he is more than OK with that, but he wants to be the man in the relationship."

"John only talks about Ben when Jen talks about Ben or when their kids talk about him. He doesn't bring him up unprompted," the source added.
