Nathan Griffith, Jenelle Evans’ ex, is now facing a DUI charge.
He was arrested in North Carolina on Thursday and later released on bond.
Jenelle Evans, star of “Teen Mom 2,” and Griffith have a son together, Kaiser, but Evans and Griffith do not get along.
Griffith has accused Evans’ husband, David Eason, of abusing Kaiser. And after Eason allegedly killed his family dog, Nugget, Griffith’s family took care of Kaiser while evidence was considered in the dog-killing case. (Evans’ other children, Jace and Ensley, stayed with Evans’ mother.)
During one custody hearing, Griffith and Eason had an unfriendly encounter that was picked up on audio.
After Evans and Eason got custody of the kids again, Griffith spoke out on Twitter.
“I’ve calmed down a bit and just relying on my faith at this moment. I’m not going to put my two cents in but if anyone wants to put their input, you can visit here to complete a survey. Any input will help. The judge’s name is Pauline Hankins. TY [Team Griffith].”
In 2014, Griffith was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license, driving on the wrong side of the road, resisting arrest and giving false information to officers. He was sentenced to 47 days in jail in that case.
