Ben Affleck Wraps Arm Around Jennifer Garner During Paintball Session Amid Rekindled Romance Rumors

Rumors are swirling that Hollywood stars Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck could possibly get back together.

The duo have grown closer in the wake of the "Accountant" star divorcing Jennifer Lopez and were recently spotted cozying up to each other at a family event, with Affleck holding Garner in a clip.

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner have also communicated far more than they have over the past several years, with the actor seeing Garner as the "love of his life."

Amid Affleck's divorce from Lopez, his ex-wife, Garner, reportedly offered herself as solace for him as he navigated the split.

Now, it seems the pair might be considering reigniting their romance, having grown even closer recently, coupled with the fact that they share three children together: Violet, 19, Fin, 16, and Sam, 13.

According to a video clip obtained by the Daily Mail, the duo were seen cozying up to each other while paintballing at the Combat Paintball Park in Castaic near Los Angeles with Fin and Sam.

In the fun moment, Affleck casually wrapped his arms around the mother of his kids as she focused on pointing her paintball gun forward.

The actress then seemingly reciprocated the affectionate move by leaning back into the embrace as she continued with the task at hand.

As Affleck and Garner's recent sighting continues to raise questions, a new source close to the Batman star revealed that the actor has gained clarity about his feelings for the mother of his kids.

"It became very clear to Ben after he reunited with JLo that she was not 'the one who got away.' She was also not the love of his life. Jen [Garner] was," the insider shared.

These feelings seemingly became clearer with Garner helping Affleck navigate his split from Lopez, a split that took quite an emotional toll on him at the time.

The source added, "Jen was there for him through his split, and she will always be there for him. They are best friends, and they share children together."

But since Garner is currently in a relationship with John Miller, it seems unlikely that she and Affleck might be getting back anytime soon, regardless of their current feelings towards each other.

On one hand, Garner is "happy in her relationship," as Miller has been a good partner to her. On the other hand, Affleck understands this situation and "respects her relationship" with the tech CEO.

As for how Miller feels about Affleck and Garner being super close, the source claimed it does make him uncomfortable, but he understands they share a unique relationship as exes.

"Does it bother John when he sees the two of them being touchy-feely? Sure," said the insider.

The source continued, "It would get to anyone, but this is nothing new. Ben and Jen have a unique relationship, especially for exes. He loves her more than any woman he has ever loved besides his mom. Ben will always flirt with Jen, and she sees it as innocent."

In January, it was reported that Garner and Affleck have been "spending more time together than ever."

"Particularly since Ben's divorce from Jennifer [Lopez] and with the LA fires and everything going on," the duo "have found themselves leaning on each other more than ever," an insider told Page Six at the time.

"They really do have a close bond," the source continued, adding that Affleck and Garner are "grateful that they have such an amazing relationship."

The insider also explained how the Oscar winner and the Emmy nominee were able to build a close bond after initially having a rocky relationship due to their 2015 divorce.

"They shared custody and were amicable when it came to situations involving their kids," the source revealed. "[They also] feel like it's only in everyone's benefit involved to have a good relationship, including themselves and their kids."

Garner's boyfriend, Miller, reportedly hopes she will reconsider her closeness with her ex-husband, Affleck, now that his divorce from Lopez has been finalized.

The Cali Group CEO is believed to respect Affleck and understands that they have children together but doesn't like to share his girlfriend.

"John is trying to deal with Ben and Jen's relationship by mostly staying quiet, but it's very hard to do that," a source told the Daily Mail. "He knows that Ben has to be around as a father and he is more than OK with that, but he wants to be the man in the relationship."

"John only talks about Ben when Jen talks about Ben or when their kids talk about him. He doesn't bring him up unprompted," the source noted.
