In late 2011, rock legend Ozzy Osbourne began an affair with hair colorist Michelle Pugh that lasted for four years and lead to his separation from his wife Sharon. After the relationship ended, Osbourne mended things with his wife, but Pugh described him as the great love of her life.
"When I say he gave me the greatest love of my life, I mean it. He made me feel like the most beautiful and worshipped woman in the world.
What attracted me to him? Chemistry. We just had it. It’s that indescribable thing in life, and you can’t deny it. And he didn’t."
After the breakup and despite Pugh's intense emotional description of the relationship, Osbourne publicly categorized it as merely sexual.
"He is sorry if Ms. Pugh took their sexual relationship out of context. He would like to apologize to the other women he has been having sexual relationships with. Since his relationship with Ms. Pugh was exposed, Ozzy has gone into intense therapy."
Being disregarded in such a manner clearly had an effect on Pugh, as evidenced by a new emotional Instagram post three years after the fact. She describes what her life was like following the affair:
"#tbt To 3 years ago. This is a reminder to me that I am beautiful, I am lovable, and I am worth it. The last 3 years have been on disaster after another, one heartbreak after another and one less after another. I gained 30lbs, suffered a deep depression, quit two jobs, buried my father, moved three times and searched for love in all the wrong places. I found my way out of the darkness through therapy and the Catholic Church. I changed my hair like 30 times and changed my look because I didn't want to be me."

However, Pugh ended the post on an encouraging note.
"Well, that's done. I love me again, I've dropped all my fears as I lived most of them, and I'm ready for the next chapter of my life, or Act III if you will. This pic of me is my inspiration to continue to lose weight, grow my back to MY look and be me. I'm not ugly, even tho that's what I was told, I'm not fat, and I'm not worthless. To those who have watched me struggle, and stood by me, thank you. I love you. To the haters, go F yourself. And to the fake people, I see thru u. I am here and I'm doing me. Age has given me wisdom and life has given me strength. ?"
From the sounds of things, Pugh is coming out of a dark time after the end of her relationship with Osbourne and finding a way to move on.
