Offset Calls For Truce In Cardi B Divorce Following Several Rants

Offset knows exactly how he wants his divorce from Cardi Bto go, and responsibility seems to be the keyword.

The "Walk It Talk It" hitmaker has now expressly communicated his preferences to make the dissolution process of his marriage hassle-free for both parties.

Cardi B and Offset's divorce has been laced with a series of social media confrontations since she pulled the plug on the marriage last August.

Offset has made it very clear that he wishes to end his marriage to Cardi B. As part of this process, he is also focused on ensuring that they share custody of their children.

In addition to seeking joint legal custody of their three children he shares with Cardi B, he also believes her home should be designated as the primary residence for the kids.

Offset is seeking a court ruling to clarify child support obligations for both parents following his split from Cardi B, who filed for divorce last year while pregnant with their third child. He also wants the court to divide their marital property and believes both should cover their legal fees.

Since their separation, which includes some occasional holiday gatherings, Cardi B has been spending time getting to know NFL star Stefon Diggs. According to TMZ, Offset has reportedly been dating a few models and currently does not live with his estranged wife.

Cardi B and Offset's usual bitter public back-and-forth peaked last year when he suggested that she was acting out to portray him negatively.

As shared by The Blast, he accused her of exaggerating to gain sympathy, referring to her as a "fire woman" who creates great music but is overly focused on relationships with men. In response, Cardi defended her single lifestyle, challenged his perspective, and criticized his intentions. 

The Grammy winner pointed out that dating should not be equated with being focused solely on men and accused Offset of trying to manipulate the narrative surrounding their breakup.

Cardi ended her message with a clear demand for him to finalize their divorce paperwork immediately. "You're trying to push a narrative to these people. F-ck off and sign the papers TODAY," the mother-of-three wrote.

The social media influencer got candid on their individual roles in the breakdown of their union early last year before she even filed for divorce at all. According to Cardi B, "The answer of getting back together is not a good night at the club and f-cking the night long."

She noted that despite spending New Year's Eve together, they still have lots of work to do on their communication, adding: "There's things that he gotta work on, there's things that I gotta work on."

Cardi B expressed that, despite the challenges in their relationship, she and Offset maintain a deep respect for one another. She emphasized that their bond goes beyond love, describing them as best friends.

The rapper also reflected on the importance of this friendship, noting that there was a time when she lacked a support system. "How do you leave a partner?' How do you stop talking to your best friend?" she wondered.

Speaking of pumping the breaks, the songwriter bumped things up a notch in the romantic department by spending February 14 in the company of the NFL star.

The Blast stated that the rapper partied all night with Diggs on Friday night before retiring to her Miami hotel early Saturday morning. She was spotted stepping out of his car and frantically searching for a lost item in the passenger's seat as Diggs watched her.

Cardi B dazzled in a sparkling silver two-piece outfit featuring a bra top and a miniskirt, while Diggs opted for a relaxed look with a red baseball cap and a red-and-white letterman jacket.

The rumored couple was earlier spotted at a New York City nightclub a week before their Valentine's Day outing.

Her recent sightings with Diggs may also indicate that her dating hiatus had expired. The rapper had told her fans in January that she was stepping away from dating for a while.

Cardi B explained that she had to make that decision to help her focus on important deadlines and tasks. "This January is a very crucial month for me. Every day and every hour counts, and I cannot be emotionally distracted," she stressed.

The rapper added, "January is very, very, very, very important, and I have a mission to complete, and if I don't complete this mission, it's going to f-ck up the schedule for this year."

Cardi B expressed that she felt she was "getting tested" but reassured that it had not negatively influenced her. She described herself as a very emotional person, noting that when her feelings take over, it affects her actions and is reflected in her music.
