After a recent court victory, Haart is poised to take back the reins of Elite World Group, the modeling agency she previously managed alongside her ex-husband, Silvio Scaglia. Last month, a divorce court granted her control of the firm, which she led from 2019 until their separation in 2022.

After receiving a ruling granting her 50% ownership of the company and power of attorney, Haart was prepared to resume her daily operations management, including the renowned modeling agency Elite, among other assets.

Per Page Six, Scaglia submitted a motion requesting the court to stay the ruling, delaying its implementation until he filed an appeal.

Sadly, Scaglia's motion did not go far, as the appeal court threw out his request, certifying Haart's return to manning the boardroom.

In the words of the presiding Judge, Dianne T. Renwick of the Supreme Court of New York's Appellate Division: "It is ordered that [Scaglia's] motion is denied."

Haart also commented on her big win in court: "Today's decision makes it clear: justice prevails. I will continue to fight for truth, fairness, and accountability because justice, though sometimes delayed, always finds its way."

On Thursday, Michael Beyda, the attorney representing Haart, expressed optimism that Mr. Scaglia might finally understand the implications of his actions.

The entrepreneur was granted control over the business she managed throughout her marriage to Scaglia and nearly $10 million in cash. Haart struck another victory when Judge Pearlman issued a default judgment in her divorce, as Scaglia halted his involvement in the proceedings.

Recently, the judge awarded Haart a 50% ownership stake in Freedom Holding. Additionally, he granted her power of attorney over Scaglia's remaining 50% interest.

This arrangement empowered her to make independent decisions regarding the company without requiring Scaglia's approval. Reacting to the victory, Haart declared:

Their relationship had deteriorated significantly before the couple's union was dissolved in 2022. An insider revealed that although they were still collaborating in 2021, their dynamic had shifted, and they were no longer functioning as a married couple.

Haart eventually filed for divorce in February 2022, marking the official end of their partnership. A legal battle erupted between Haart and Scaglia as soon as the filing went live. The situation escalated when Haart sought a restraining order against Scaglia.

In response, Scaglia filed a lawsuit against Haart, claiming she had unlawfully withdrawn $850,000 from a company bank account after her termination as CEO. Additionally, he accused her of misusing corporate funds for personal expenses, including unnecessary purchases and cosmetic surgery.

Will Silvio Scaglia fight back or accept this round of defeat from Julia Haart for good?
