Kylie Jenner Doubles Down On Her Feelings After Death Of 'More Than My Friend' Hairstylist

A life without her longtime pal, Jesus Guerrero, has been a difficult transition for Kylie Jenner.

The reality TV star and businesswoman opened up about coping with the recent loss of her hairstylist. Guerrero passed away at 34, a heartbreaking event his family announced through a GoFundMe post on February 22.

Since the news of Jesus Guerrero's death dropped, numerous tributes have poured in for the hair expert. Kylie Jenner penned a lengthy message in honor of her late friend, taking fans down memory lane while reflecting on the qualities that made the deceased special.

On Friday, Kylie got candid about her feelings amid her grief on her Instagram Story. She shared a screenshot of an hours-long phone call with Ariel Tejada, her pal and a celebrity makeup artist who was also close friends with Guerrero.

The makeup artist and Kylie spent over seven hours presumably talking about Guerrero and comforting each other. It seemed the media personality needed the lengthy conversation, given her longing for the hairstylist. She addressed her feelings in an overlay text, writing:

"Sleeping has been the hardest. I love you @makeupbyariel [People hugging emoji]."

Kylie doubled down on missing Guerrero in a follow-up post, sharing a video of the pair dancing around. The clip, set to the song "River" by Leon Bridges, captured how comfortable the entertainer was next to the hairstylist.

Kylie honored Guerrero's memory earlier this week on Tuesday, February 25. The Blast noted she dropped 20 slides capturing their time together on Instagram, with the first showcasing them posing on what appeared to be a set.

The socialite donned a white robe and matched the hairstylist's bright smile for the camera. More pictures captured Kylie and Guerrero behind the scenes at photoshoots, suggesting the deceased has been a significant part of her glam squad.

Besides helping her look flawless, the pair shared a bond beyond their professional borders. Shots of them at the beach, having sleepovers, and even a video of Kylie celebrating Guerrero's birthday proved their longtime friendship.

If these images did not justify their close bond, the reality TV star's caption confirmed her love for the late hair expert.

Kylie got vulnerable in the post's caption, capturing how much Guerrero meant to her in a poignant message. "Jesus was more than my friend - he was a light in my life, a source of laughter, comfort, love, and unwavering support," she began, adding:

"I don't know how I would have made it through the last almost decade without him by my side. He had a way of making even the heaviest days feel lighter."

"Thank you, Jesus, for always being there for me, for lifting me up, for being my friend. The pain of losing you is just unbearable, and I don't know how to move forward without you, but I know great grief is born only of great love. And I loved you so much," the grieving celebrity confessed.

Kylie reflected on the qualities that made Guerrero special in her heart, describing him as "the best person with a talent that was unmatched and "a true artist." She claimed he "inspired so many" with his talents and declared his legacy would continue to motivate others.

She vowed to cherish Guerrero's words, laughter, and kindness, noting his "beautiful spirit" would always live in her heart. Kylie's promises continued with claims of treasuring every moment they spent together, including their hugs.

"I wish I could hug you again. I laid in your bed the way you used to lay in mine, talking for hours. I would give anything for one more deep talk. I'm going to miss you so much. More than any words can say. 222 my angel," she concluded.

Before breaking her silence on Guerrero's death, sources claimed Kylie had been working behind the scenes to honor her pal's memory. She reportedly offered to help his family cover his funeral and other expenses.

These bills included the transportation of Guerrero's body back to his hometown of Houston. Besides financial assistance, Kylie allegedly spent much of the weekend comforting her late pal's family and offering to help however she could.

Kylie's older sisters, Kim and Khloé Kardashian, also paid tribute to Guerrero. In their respective messages, the pair stressed the hairstylist, and the other members of their glam team, were more than employees. They described them as "family" and noted they felt the pain of their deaths.

Hopefully, Kylie Jenner will overcome her grief and someday be able to sleep while treasuring her memories of Jesus Guerrero.
