'Teen Mom' Star Amber Portwood Ordered To Court in Domestic Violence Case

“Teen Mom” star Amber Portwood has been ordered to show up in court, as part of her domestic violence case.
According to court documents obtained by The Blast, the reality star will have to appear before an Indiana judge on October 31.
A hearing was held on October 10, where the judge ruled on a couple things. The court records show the judge denied Portwood’s motion seeking for her $2,000 bond to be returned. Portwood paid the $2,000 to get out of jail following her arrest.
The records note the judge ordered Portwood “to be here next hearing if planning in resolving case.”
As The Blast previously reported, Portwood was arrested following a domestic violence incident. The reality star is facing charges of domestic battery, criminal recklessness with a deadly weapon and a felony domestic battery.
During the fight, Portwood allegedly pulled a machete on Glennon during the attack.
Prosecutors have been entering evidence into the case. They recently informed the court they plan to use Portwood’s texts, emails and videos against her.
They also have over 20 photographs of the alleged injuries and 3 videos from a Ring camera listed as evidence. There was also an audio recording of a statement given by Glennon, so it appears he is fully cooperating with law enforcement against the mother of his child.
Following the arrest, Glennon filed suit against Portwood seeking primary custody of their 1-year-old son, James. He wants her to only have supervised visitation. He also asked the court for permission to move to California. Portwood has objected to the move demanding her child stay in Indiana.
