
Las Vegas Sphere's Beloved Emoji Character Finally Has A Name

After sharing many different scenes starring the iconic yellow emoji on the Exosphere, SphereLas Vegas has finally given the beloved character a name.
Meet Orbi. Orbi is known for his fun scenes on the popular Sphere in the heart of Sin City. At any given time, visitors may see Orbi waking up, enjoying a cup of coffee, taking a nap, dressing up for a holiday, or just enjoying the Vegas sky. The popularity of this character has only grown since its first appearance in 2023.

On Thursday morning, the world finally found out what the fun, yellow emoji on Sphere's Exosphere's name is.
"Hello World! My name is Orbi™," an adorable video on Instagram shares. In the video, Orbi apparently finds out his name and makes some of the cute facial expressions everyone seems to enjoy.
"HE'S GOT A NAME?!" one person wrote in the comments of the video. Another added, "Glad to put a name to the face that makes my daughter and I smile (especially driving to work every day- neighbor)!"
Many others also shared welcoming thoughts about the iconic emoji finally getting a name.
"Best name for the sphere," one person wrote. Another said, "Orbi is my fav thing about the Sphere."
Sphere Launched A New E-Commerce Website That Includes The 'Orbi Collection'

While the world seems excited to finally know what to call their favorite larger than life emoji, Sphere Entertainment Co. also announced some more exciting news for fans near and far.
Sphere just launched its brand new e-commerce website that features original Sphere merchandise, as well as the "Orbi Collection."
"Orbi has become a global phenomenon and cultural touchstone, captivating audiences in Las Vegas and on social media with its many expressions," said Chandra Allison, executive vice president sales and service, Sphere, who oversees merchandise, according to a press release. "The e-commerce site is a way for fans around the world to connect with Orbi and Sphere via official branded merchandise, further extending the reach and visibility of Sphere's brand."
Fans can now purchase Sphere merchandise at shop.thesphere.com, where they will find a wide variety of apparel and accessories for all ages.

Since Orbi's debut on the Sphere's Exosphere in 2023, the popular gigantic emoji has shared many facial expressions that speak volumes and entertain the masses.
Orbi gets into the spirit of holidays, events, and shares different moods, such as excited, tired, and intrigued.
Multiple times a day, Vegas visitors and locals may catch Orbi enjoying a cup of coffee, checking out the sky, dressing up for a holiday, or catching snowflakes on its tongue during "sweater weather" season.
And Orbi goes all out for Formula 1 fun, donning a driver helmet and watching the cars zoom by during the race.
Sphere Is Home To Many Exciting Shows

The venue, known for its massive LED exterior and cutting-edge immersive technology, is the world’s largest spherical structure and has quickly become an iconic attraction on the Las Vegas Strip.
Sphere in Las Vegas officially opened in September 2023 with a U2 residency titled "U2: UV Achtung Baby Live at Sphere."
Many shows have entertained locals and visitors alike since opening - U2, The Eagles, Afterlife Presents Anyma: 'The End of Genesys,' Dead & Company, and UFC 306, as well as the film "Postcard from Earth."

It was recently announced that Backstreet Boys are about to launch their "Into the Millennium" residency at Sphere beginning on July 11, 2025. Originally scheduled for 15 shows, high demand forced a few more performances to be added that have them entertaining fans inside Sphere until August 17, 2025.
Sphere's advanced sound design and 360-degree graphics promise a unique and immersive concert experience for diehard fans to relive the magic of the "Millennium" album.
In conjunction with the Sphere residency, the group plan to release "Millennium 2.0," a revamped version of the original album.
