While answering a question from his "Brave New World" co-star Danny Ramirez, Mackie didn’t hesitate to name Paul Rudd as his first choice. But his reasoning wasn’t about dislike; instead, it was about Rudd’s deceptively sharp wit.

"Paul Rudd. He's condescending in a smart way, so there's no way to get back at him. So he'll tell you something and you don't realize it is an insult until you're off the chat. And then there's no way to come back to it. He just has dismantled you."

Mackie also added Don Cheadle to the list, though his comments were all in good fun.

He praised Cheadle for his support, especially after attending the "Captain America: Brave New World" premiere to congratulate him.

"Actually, he and Don Cheadle I would kick out of the chat," Mackie joked. "You know the best thing about the Marvel world, the Marvel universe. It's like siblings... like going to camp. So everybody chimes in and makes sure that you're supported. It meant a lot to me, Don Cheadle came to the ['Captain America: Brave New World'] premiere to tell me congratulations."

Ramirez, playing along with the banter, quipped, "He didn't say sh-t to me."

Mackie, ever the charismatic storyteller, defended his bond with Cheadle, noting, "I've known him twenty-two years!"

Mark Ruffalo and Robert Downey Jr. share a strong friendship both on and off the screen, with Ruffalo recently opening up about how much their bond means to him.

During a Reddit AMA, the "Avengers" star reflected on his relationship with Downey Jr., describing him as the older brother he always wished he had. "We have a really good friendship. We've known each other since before Zodiac. And he's kind of like an older brother that I wish I had," Ruffalo shared.

Their connection extends beyond just casual friendship—Downey Jr. played a pivotal role in Ruffalo joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe. When Ruffalo was hesitant about taking on the role of Bruce Banner/The Hulk in The Avengers, it was Downey Jr. who helped ease his nerves.

"I reached out to him, I was nervous about it," Ruffalo recalled. "I said, 'I don't know if I can do this,' and he said, 'It's alright buddy, I gotcha.'”

Ruffalo and Downey Jr. played close friends in the Avengers films, and their real-life bond mirrors their on-screen chemistry. Whether it's supporting each other’s careers or offering words of encouragement, their friendship has stood the test of time, making them one of the most beloved duos in the Marvel franchise.
