Drake’s baby mama is reminiscing about her pregnancy days before their son’s 2nd birthday.
Sophie Brussaux, the mother of Drake’s son Adonis, shared throwback photos from her pregnancy.
In the snap, Brussaux is posing in front of the mirror in a sleek black dress, showing off her baby bump. She captioned the post, “Today, it’s been 2 years I was having 50-sec contractions every 3 min for 24 hours man…all worth it.”
She added, “Only a handful of weeks left, over 200lbs. Looks like I’m carrying twins, but I swear I’m not.” Adonis was born on October 24, 2017.
Brussaux has remained quite private about her son and Drake.
She is an artist who lives in Paris and enjoys painting celebrity portraits. Brussaux has shown off her artwork of Angelina Jolie, Angela Bassett, Amy Winehouse, Leonardo DiCaprio, Michelle Obama and Beyoncé. Brussaux also paints other things besides celebrities.
Brussaux is also quite the fighter and showed off her skills recently.
Brussaux and Drake have kept things peaceful and appear to be co-parenting successfully.
Back in March, Brussaux showed up to one of Drake’s Paris concerts and was given the VIP treatment.
In the photos posted, Brussaux appeared with a friend and has a VIP pass hanging around her neck. She even posted video of her dancing from a private area of the venue.
Brussaux has not spoken publicly much about her relationship with Drake after it was revealed the rapper had a son named Adonis.
The rapper talked about his son on his album “Scorpion”. On his track “Emotionless” he rapped, “I wasn’t hiding my kid from the world, I was hiding the world from my kid / From empty souls who just wake up and look to debate / Until you staring at your seed, you could never relate.”
He went deeper on “March 14” where the lyrics included, “Yesterday morning was crazy / I had to come to terms with the fact that it’s not a maybe / That shit is in stone, sealed and signed / She’s not my lover like Billie Jean, but the kid is mine / Sandi used to tell me all it takes is one time / Shit, we only met two times. Two times / And both times were nothing like the new times / Now it’s rough times/ I’m out here on front lines just tryna make sure that I see him sometimes. It’s breaking my spirit / A single father, I hate when I hear it.”
