Combined, the NFL has reaped nearly $1 billion in brand value, reportedly driven by increased merchandise sales and ticket purchases.

Beyond an increase in profits, they have enjoyed more viewership, especially across the female demographic that they had been trying to appeal to for years.

"Appealing to women and youth audiences has been a concerted, strategic focus for many years, and we saw a lot of momentum already happening, with growing fandom, perception, and engagement among these demographics," said NFL executive Ian Trombetta in a statement, per Market Watch.

"That further accelerated last season with Taylor, especially in social media consumption among 13- [to] 24-year-old women."

Earlier in the month, Swift was seen attending the Super Bowl once again to support Kelce, whose team faced the Philadelphia Eagles.

The game started out with the singer being booed by some of the opposing fans, which led to her reacting with shock.

However, if the booing scenario was hurtful, more disappointment soon came after the Chiefs lost 40 - 22 to the Eagles.

In the wake of the loss, Swift has been "comforting" Kelce, as she "knows how hard" he "worked all season" to get to that moment where he could bag a historic three-peat, per Page Six.

Despite the disappointment, it has not in any way changed her feelings about him as a top player.

"Taylor knows Travis took this loss very hard, but she couldn't be more proud of him regardless of the outcome," an insider shared.

As for the couple's current activities, a source close to them had earlier shared that they had plans to enjoy some "downtime" together now that they are no longer occupied by their careers.

An insider shared about the duo, "They knew that Taylor's Eras Tour would be wrapping in December and football season would be coming to an end now so they had planned for this time to focus on some alone time to just be together."

According to the insider, the lovebirds intend to get away from all the "distractions," given the heavy spotlight on their relationship all through much of last year.

During this period, the couple will also spend time "relaxing" and talking "about their future."

As speculation grows about his future in the NFL, Kelce remains uncertain but hopeful.

"I love doing this. I love coming into work every day. I feel like I've still got a lot of good football left in me. We'll see what happens," he said during Super Bowl Opening Night, per the New York Post.

Though he is preparing for life beyond the NFL, he emphasized his commitment to the game.

"I know I've been setting myself up for other opportunities in my life. That's always been the goal, knowing that football only lasts so long," Kelce continued.

He added, "You've got to find a way to get into another career and another profession. I've been doing that in my offseasons. But for the most part, I plan on being a Kansas City Chief and playing football."
