Keke Palmer turned heads at the 2025 SAG Awards with a show-stopping archival Chanel gown that has a surprising Hollywood connection.

The dress that Keke Palmer wore featured gold embellishments and a timeless silhouette and was sold in December 2024 by Vintage Martini Consignment in Dallas, Texas.

The actress walked the red carpet in a stunning black velvet strapless gown from 1985, originally worn by Jamie Lee Curtis nearly 40 years ago.

Palmer’s stylist, Molly Dickson, confirmed the vintage fashion moment on Instagram, revealing that Curtis first wore the gown at the First Annual American Cinematheque Award Salute to Eddie Murphy on February 28, 1986.

Both actresses embraced the gown’s original styling, pairing it with matching opera gloves, as seen on Chanel’s original runway.

While Curtis amped up the look with bold gold earrings, Palmer opted for understated elegance, accessorizing with leaf-shaped diamond huggies from Brilliant Earth’s Jane Goodall collection. She completed the ensemble with a striking copper bob, classic winged eyeliner, and a bold red lip, channeling Old Hollywood glamour.

Although Palmer wasn’t nominated for an award, she graced the stage as a presenter alongside Colman Domingo, sharing on the red carpet, “Presenting is a little spooky, but I’m doing it with Colman Domingo. He’s a friend.”

Meanwhile, Curtis also made a statement at the ceremony in a sequin-covered Dolce & Gabbana gown with a dramatic feathered bolero, a nod to her role in "The Last Showgirl."

Palmer’s SAG Awards appearance comes as she prepares to part ways with her Mediterranean-style Studio City home, which recently hit the Los Angeles real estate market for $1.8 million. The "True Jackson VP" alum originally purchased the home in 2021 for just under $1.4 million.

Spanning 2,600 square feet, the 1987-built residence offers three bedrooms and three bathrooms. Nestled on a hillside cul-de-sac, the property boasts curved terra-cotta roof tiles, a cheerful yellow front door, and a stucco exterior painted blue-gray.

A nearby jungle-themed powder room makes a bold statement with moss-green alligator-skin-textured wallpaper and a glass vessel sink shaped like a leaf. The kitchen is equipped with a breakfast bar, double ovens, and a silver hexagon-tiled backsplash. Adjacent to it, the family room features another fireplace and outdoor access.

Upstairs, ’60s-style green floral carpet lines the staircase leading to the bedrooms. The primary suite boasts a vaulted ceiling, built-in wall alcove shelving, a full ensuite bathroom, and a spacious walk-in closet.
