“Modern Family” star Sofia Vergara is accusing her ex-fiancé Nick Loeb of refusing to answer questions about anti-abortion groups paying his legal bills.
According to court documents obtained by The Blast, the actress is asking a judge to sanction Loeb to the tune of $34,155.
Vergara and Loeb have been fighting in court for years. He sued the actress after she refused to let him bring their frozen embryos to life. She has pointed to a contract they signed, requiring both parties to consent.
In newly filed court documents, Vergara accuses Loeb of refusing to turn over documents in the case. She claims to have tried for months and spent thousands in legal fees.

Vergara has demanded Loeb turn over any communications he had with “right-to-life or anti-abortion organizations” regarding payment of his legal bills. She believes the groups may be paying to keep the case going.
She claims Loeb has failed to hand over a list of other children he has fathered. The actress also believes the text messages he turned over are incomplete. Vergara is asking for Loeb to be sanctioned and to turn over the documents ASAP.

Loeb and Vergara dated for several years but split in 2014. Vergara has refused to give him consent over the embryos and the two have been battling ever since.

Loeb at one point even wrote an op-ed in the NY Times saying, "When we create embryos for the purpose of life, should we not define them as life, rather than as property? Does one person’s desire to avoid biological parenthood (free of any legal obligations) outweigh another’s religious beliefs in the sanctity of life and desire to be a parent? A woman is entitled to bring a pregnancy to term even if the man objects. Shouldn’t a man who is willing to take on all parental responsibilities be similarly entitled to bring his embryos to term even if the woman objects? These are issues that, unlike abortion, have nothing to do with the rights over one’s own body, and everything to do with a parent’s right to protect the life of his or her unborn child."
Following their split, Vergara went on to marry Joe Manganiello.
