Justin Baldoni’s business partner, Steve Sarowitz, allegedly compared a potential legal battle with Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds to Israel’s military campaign against Hamas.

According to Lively’s amended legal complaint, filed late Tuesday night, Sarowitz was allegedly prepared to take extreme action against the Hollywood power couple in August 2024.

The complaint claims he told a third party that if Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds ever "cross the line," he would retaliate aggressively.

Lively’s filing goes on to allege that Sarowitz used an inflammatory analogy, reportedly stating, “I will protect the studio like Israel protected itself from Hamas. There were 39,000 dead bodies. There will be two dead bodies when I’m done.”

The lawsuit, per TMZ, notes that while Sarowitz later clarified he was not speaking literally and did not intend to cause physical harm, he allegedly made it clear that he would work to ruin Lively and Reynolds’ reputations in Hollywood. The filing suggests he vowed to make them "dead" in the industry, ensuring they lost standing among Hollywood elites.

The alleged comments reference the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas, which escalated in October 2023. Israel has faced international scrutiny over its military tactics, with critics accusing the government of war crimes due to large-scale bombing campaigns in civilian areas.

The amended complaint also includes new claims about Baldoni himself, with Lively alleging that she wasn't the only person on set who felt uncomfortable around him.

The filing states that Baldoni "knew that women other than Ms. Lively also were uncomfortable and had complained about his behavior." According to Lively, multiple women filed complaints about Baldoni, which he allegedly acknowledged in writing at the time.

Additionally, a defamation claim has been added to the lawsuit over statements made by Baldoni’s attorney, Bryan Freedman, to the media.

In late January, Baldoni’s attorneys launched a website titled Lawsuit Info, linking to his amended complaint filed in court on January 31.

Currently, the website features two key links: The Amended Complaint, a full legal document filed by Baldoni and his production studio against Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds, outlining allegations of defamation, extortion, and false accusations; and The Case Timeline, a chronological breakdown of key events, including when Baldoni first acquired the rights to "It Ends with Us" and the developments leading up to Lively’s accusations.

Baldoni’s legal team, led by renowned attorney Bryan Freedman, told TMZ that the website will be regularly updated to present a "transparent and factual" timeline of events. According to his attorneys, the goal is to provide the public with direct access to evidence, allowing them to form their own opinions.

With millions of dollars, reputations, and careers at stake, this legal battle is no longer confined to the courtroom; it is unfolding in the public eye.

Earlier this month, legal teams for both Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni appeared in court for the first time since she filed a sexual harassment lawsuit against him, followed by his countersuit against her and The New York Times.

According to insiders, Lively feels optimistic about how the hearing played out, particularly after the judge addressed Baldoni’s attorney, Bryan Freedman, cautioning him against making inflammatory comments in the media that could sway the jury pool. Lively was even seen smiling in a recent selfie shared on Ryan Reynolds’ Instagram Stories, fueling speculation that she is feeling confident about the case.

Sources close to Lively say she is prepared to take the stand, aiming to keep the focus on her serious allegations of sexual harassment and retaliation. Her legal team is dismissing Baldoni’s counterclaims as a “sideshow” meant to divert attention away from the misconduct allegations and instead shift the narrative toward the final edit of "It Ends with Us."

Escalating Legal Battle

This legal drama began in December when Lively publicly accused Baldoni of sexual harassment and claimed he was part of a campaign to destroy her reputation. Baldoni has denied all allegations and is now counter-suing Lively for $400 million, accusing her of attempting to ruin his career.

As tensions continue to rise, this legal battle shows no signs of slowing down, especially with new allegations and explosive claims surfacing with each new filing.
