Kim Zolciak & Kroy Biermann's Divorce Takes Another Turn With Request For Psych Eval

Kim Zolciak wants her estranged husband, Kroy Biermann, to get a medical evaluation amid their ongoing divorce.

The reality star registered her desire to see her estranged husband go through necessary tests as she believed he was suffering from a cognitive disease.

Kim Zolciak's latest request comes after she accused Kroy Biermann of stealing her prescription medication in January.

Zolciak has expressed concerns about her estranged husband's mental health, stating that he requires psychological assistance. She is seeking court intervention to have medical professionals assess Biermann for potential Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy (CTE).

TMZ confirmed that the reality star expressed her concerns about her estranged partner, suggesting that he might be experiencing symptoms of a cognitive disease. 

According to Mayo Clinic, CTE is a brain disorder likely caused by repeated head injuries. It causes the death of nerve cells in the brain, known as degeneration. 

Since Biermann is a former footballer and prone to taking hits to the head, Zolciak’s observation may not be far from the truth. The reality star reportedly believes it may also affect his behavior and well-being.

Zolciak alleges that the former NFL player, with an eight-year career, frequently erupts into profanity-laden rants about her in front of their four young children.

She also accused him of resorting to physical violence against her and noted that he is extremely sexually promiscuous. Biermann is facing accusations of preventing the children from reaching out to their mothers by taking control of their cell phones.

The "RHOA" star referenced a Boston University study revealing that over 90% of former NFL players exhibited signs of CTE, a fatal brain disease, in the filing.

Based on these statistics, Zolciak believes it is highly plausible that her ex may also be suffering from the condition. She urged the court to step in to help him take the necessary steps towards getting a diagnosis.

While every other family enjoyed the auspicious day of Christmas, The Blast shared that Zolciak and Biermann had other chaotic plans.

On Christmas Day, Zolciak reported to the police that Biermann had stolen prescription medications valued at over $1,500. She accused him of breaking into her private storage area to take the drugs.

The incident happened simply because the estranged couple still lived together in their Georgia mansion, although that chapter is closed now, as they sold the house this month.

In body cam footage, Zolciak can be seen recounting the details of the alleged theft to the police officers who responded to the situation.

The reality star, like the former NFL star, has seemingly gotten fond of leveling outrageous theft allegations against her ex. She previously accused him of taking "hundreds of thousands of dollars" worth of her luxury items, including expensive jewelry and designer handbags.

Zolciak formally reported the alleged missing items at a police station accompanied by a friend in January. Unfortunately, the items remain unfound as insiders shared that the police have made little progress locating them.

The estranged couple have experienced a series of ups and downs in their chaotic marriage and at a point, things seemed amicable between them. After the "RHOA" star filed for divorce, Biermann was seen accompanying her to a vaginal rejuvenation surgery in Los Angeles.

The couple even celebrated their 12th wedding anniversary in November 2023, with the TV personality sharing clips of their intimate dinner on Instagram, but the harmony was only temporary. About a month later, law enforcement arrived at their residence due to a verbal domestic dispute.

Biermann accused Zolciak of being unfaithful during the incident captured on bodycam footage. Zolciak strongly refuted these accusations, describing them as false, baseless, and slanderous.
