According to the countdown, she has just four months and six days remaining on parole, with her supervision set to conclude on June 24.

Speaking to PEOPLE Magazine, Blanchard reflected on what this milestone means for her future. “A whole new world is about to open up for me very soon with many new opportunities and adventures,” she said.

Though she has been out of prison for over a year, Blanchard explained that she still feels tied to the system. “Although I have freedoms while outside of prison walls, I am still in a sense ‘property of the state of Missouri,’” she shared. “So I am looking forward to a life without restrictions or being ‘owned.’ ”

Since her release, Blanchard has remained in the spotlight, particularly as her personal life continues to make headlines.

After splitting from her husband, Ryan Scott Anderson, in March, she rekindled her romance with former fiancé Ken Urker. The two confirmed their relationship was back on in April, and by July, Blanchard announced that they were expecting their first child together.

“When I found out that I was pregnant, none of anything else mattered; the drama on social media, the feud between creators and me, and all of that drama, it just all faded. It didn’t matter anymore,” she said in a YouTube video at the time. “All that matters is that I’m healthy, the baby is healthy, and the relationship with Ken is healthy.”

On January 1, Blanchard revealed that she and Urker had welcomed their daughter, Aurora Raina Urker, on December 28, marking exactly one year after her release from prison.

“I have so much to focus on, making sure that I’m healthy for this baby,” Gypsy shared in July during her appearance on "Good Morning America." “There’s this tiny little life that is inside of you and that little tiny life is a baby, a little tiny human that’s yours and that you have to make sure you protect, you love, you take care of, and all of the things that I wished I could’ve had when I was little.”

She added, “All the things that I wanted in a mother, I’m going to give to this baby.”

For Gypsy Rose Blanchard and her fiancé, Ken Urker, the name "Aurora" carries deep personal significance, rooted in a shared dream that dates back years.

Blanchard recently opened up about the inspiration behind their daughter's name, revealing that it stems from a meaningful moment in their early relationship.

“Back whenever Ken and I were together seven years ago, both of us had a fascination with the Northern Lights, and the proper term is the Aurora Borealis,” she explained. “In 2018, we wrote each other’s future kid’s name on pieces of paper, and Aurora is what we both picked without even knowing the other was picking it.”

The couple first began dating in 2017 before parting ways in 2019. During their time apart, Blanchard assumed the dream of having a daughter named Aurora would never come to fruition. However, when she and Urker rekindled their romance in 2023, that hope was revived.

“When we had broken up [it was like], ‘Oh, Aurora is never going to be born,’” she shared. “A lot of people think the origin of the name is one thing, but they don’t know that little story.”

Now, with their daughter’s arrival marking a new chapter in their lives, the couple has set their sights on a trip to experience the natural wonder that first inspired the name. “Someday, we’re going to see it,” Blanchard said. “After I’m off parole, we’re going to go to Sweden.”
