Alex Baskin, executive producer of several Bravo shows, including "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" and "Vanderpump Rules," recently teased an "insane" second season of his new hit show, "The Valley," which features many familiar faces, including Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright.
Season 1 of "The Valley" came out of the gate swinging. It showcased conflict between castmates that viewers didn't see coming, making it one of Bravo's best new shows in years. Based on Baskin's comments on Tamra Judge's podcast about season 2, the upcoming batch of new episodes will be even more entertaining than before.
Baskin Teases That Viewers Are Not Ready For Season 2 Of 'The Valley'

Season 1 of "The Valley," which, in addition to Taylor and Cartwright, also features Kristen Doute from "Vanderpump Rules," began airing in March 2024. The cast of friends who traded in life in the busy streets of Hollywood for baby bottles in the valley instantly brought the heat, creating classic Bravo feuds that took the zeitgeist by storm.
During an episode of Judge's podcast, "Two Ts in a Pod," Baskin shared some behind-the-scenes information about the show and teased the new season, calling the upcoming episodes "insane."
Season 2 of "The Valley" will showcase Cartwright and Taylor's ongoing separation, Michelle Saniei and Jesse Lally's co-parenting struggles, Doute's fractured relationship with the cast, and much more.
"You will be absolutely gripped from the first minute, and it never lets off," Baskin said. "It is the craziest season 2 of any show I've ever made." The reality TV producer continued hyping the series up and told Judge he wasn't "overpromising."
He added, "[The season is] fast-paced, fascinating [and] relentless."
Taylor's Issues Will Be On Season 2 Of 'The Valley'

One of the "insane" storylines that will be shown during the new episodes of "The Valley" will involve Taylor's marital issues with Cartwright.
After separating, rumors surfaced that Cartwright had a fling with one of Taylor's friends, Julian Sensley.
According to reports, Taylor "went berserk" once he learned of the incident, which is said to be one of the events that pushed the "House of Villains" star into an in-patient recovery program.
However, Cartwright's relationships aren't the only thing Taylor has to worry about. In November 2024, the reality star was reportedly involved in a fender bender in Los Angeles that created even more chaos in the sports bar owner's life.
The impacted vehicle chased Taylor to a nearby gas station, where paparazzi captured their emotional conversation. Taylor also assessed the cars for damage before angrily driving away.
Taylor's representative shared an update a day later, saying his client was involved in an "unpleasant interaction" over a "minor fender bender" before revealing he filed a claim with his insurance company.

Following the first episode of "The Valley" airing on Bravo, it was reported that the series drew in nearly three million viewers, making it the network's most-watched premiere of 10 years.
Consequently, the success had many people wondering if any of the OGs from "Vanderpump Rules" would transition to the show, considering their relationships with Taylor and Cartwright.
According to an earlier report, Lala Kent, Scheana Shay, and Tom Schwartz all filmed scenes for season 2 of "The Valley." However, it's unclear in what capacity the reality stars will appear.
The news that the aforementioned cast members would be part of the new season came shortly after "VPR" was placed on hiatus in the summer of 2024 following the damage caused by "Scandoval."
On her podcast, "Scheananigans," Shay teased the upcoming second season of the "Pump Rules" spin-off and hinted that the drama from the first season impacted the way many of the cast members behaved in front of the cameras during production for season 2.
"I see it with my friends on The Valley," she said. "I think some are acting a little more calm at times and I’m like, ‘come on, give me the crazy, you know?’ Then there are some that just was just like, it’s so beautiful that the cameras just aren’t there, and they’re just themselves.”

After production wrapped on season 2 of "The Valley," Bravo announced that it would revamp "Vanderpump Rules" ahead of its 12th season.
According to reports, the new series is gearing up for production. It will feature an entirely new group of "close-knit SUR-vers who are as complicatedly involved with one another as their iconic predecessors."
“What a thrill it is to build on the legacy of this series by doing it all over again,” Baskin said in a press release. “With [a] profound appreciation for the original group and their iconic run, we can’t wait for the audience to see a dynamic new group of co-workers and friends make their way through life together."
Elsewhere, during the podcast with Judge, Baskin praised the original crew for what they gave to "Pump Rules" during its original run from 2013 to 2024. He also left listeners with a lot of hope, calling the new group of Bravolebrities "a lot of fun."

Like his other cast members, Taylor posted a lengthy tribute to "Vanderpump Rules" on his social media account after the revamp announcement became public.
In the carousel of images, Taylor shared cast pictures and throwback clips, including some of his most unhinged moments with cast members like Lisa Vanderpump and Tom Sandoval.
"In all seriousness, 'Vanderpump Rules' will always have a part of my heart," he wrote in his caption. "Many highs, probably more lows. But I'm so thankful to have worked with such an incredibly talented team."
Then, Taylor reminded his followers that although he'd no longer be on "Pump Rules," he was still part of the Bravo family.
"This isn't goodbye... more like see ya soon... on MY show," he finished.
