Victoria Jackson Calls Out Tom Hanks Over MAGA Sketch

Victoria Jackson has expressed her discontent with Tom Hanks over his recent appearance on "Saturday Night Live," where he seemingly portrayed a MAGA supporter as "racist."

The comedy show is celebrating its 50th anniversary and brought back some of its best sketches, amongst which was "Black Jeopardy!" featuring Leslie Jones, Tracy Morgan, Eddie Murphy, and Hanks.

The "Forrest Gump" actor reprised his character as Doug, a clueless rube wearing a MAGA hat and an American Eagle shirt.

However, he unsettled nerves when he refused to shake hands with Kenan Thompson's character, Darnell Hayes, before reluctantly agreeing.

According to TMZ, Jackson labeled the skit as "stupid," adding that she was offended by the profanity on the show.

She also told the news outlet that another former cast member next to her on the red carpet laughed at the "crude jokes" and noted that the show seemed to have something for everyone but then asked, "Did anyone make fun of the Kamala supporters?!"

The 65-year-old actress, who was a part of the "SNL" cast from 1986 to 1992, has been an outspoken conservative and religious voice in the entertainment industry.

MAGA Supporters Had A 'Meltdown' Online Over Tom Hanks' Sketch

Following his reprisal as Doug, several MAGA supporters took to social media to register their dissatisfaction with him.

Among them was Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s aide, Link Lauren's post, which labeled the stereotype as "downright disgusting."

"This show wonders why their ratings are in the gutter," Lauren wrote. "Trump won the popular vote. This tired trope that MAGA is racist is disgusting. SNL is an unfunny show for snobbish liberal elites."

An X user wrote, "SNL's desperate attempt to smear Trump supporters as racist is tired and pathetic. Maybe if they focused on being funny instead of pushing an agenda, they wouldn't be tanking in ratings."

"Did no one tell Tom that Trump is hosting a reception at the WH for Black History Month?" one user quizzed.

The NBC staple played host to Hollywood big names for a concert at New York's Radio City Music Hall on Valentine's Day.

However, it was Hanks and his wife, Rita Wilson, who stole the spotlight, though not for the reason fans might have expected.

The couple left guests in stitches when they brazenly stood up and "stormed out" of the event, although the moment was clearly staged for comedic effect.

It all happened when host Jimmy Fallon addressed the crowd, clarifying that there would be no awards handed out that night.

"Apparently, there's been some confusion. This is just a concert. We're not giving out any awards tonight," Fallon announced. "So I just want to make sure that everyone knows that."

The camera then panned behind Fallon to capture the couple dramatically getting up from their seats to exit the auditorium.

In a now-viral clip, Wilson could be seen wagging her finger at the camera as the two playfully exited the venue. A viral clip also captured Wilson pointing her finger toward Fallon as she held hands with her husband and walked out.

"Tom? Rita?" Fallon called out with a puzzled look. "We lost Tom Hanks and Rita. Sorry. It wasn't their fault."

In Peacock's "SNL50: Beyond Saturday Night" docuseries, Hanks reflected on his first hosting gig on SNL and called it "the single most exciting thing that has happened in my career," per NBC.

Hanks first hosted the show in 1985, during its 11th season, when he was 29. He has since gone on to host the show a whopping 10 times and became a member of the Five-Timers Club in 1990.

He was also the first host to be able to join the writer's room and said, "The fact that they just put their head down and plowed through it was actually a bit of a life lesson for me."

"Don't read the bad reviews because someone out there is just going to hate your guts," he added. "The cliché of saying it was a dream come true doesn't do it justice. It's a fantasy made real."

Victoria Jackson Has Less Than 3 Years To Live

Jackson's dissatisfaction with Tom Hanks comes six months after she announced that she was diagnosed with inoperable cancer this week and has less than 3 years left to live.

In an Instagram video called "Is The Cancer Back," the "Baby Boom" actress confirmed that the cancer has indeed returned.

"Update on the cancer: they cannot operate and cut out the marble in my chest that is laying on my windpipe and eventually would suffocate me to death," she said with a small chuckle.

Jackson revealed at the time that she would be receiving a "magic pill" that would hopefully shrink the tumor, but having searched it up on Google, she noted that people who take it have "32.6 months to live," while the people who took the "placebo" had 28 months to live.

"I've had a fantastic life," the actress noted, expressing her hope of seeing her grandson be born. "You know, we're all dying, but when you kinda see in print, you have 32.6 months, it makes you think, ya know? But I wouldn't change anything."
