A trailer for Guy Ritchie's weed-gangster film The Gentlemen dropped today, and it's high on life as well as death.
In this town, there can only be one king. Here’s the trailer for @RealGuyRitchie’s #TheGentlemen, starring @McConaughey, #CharlieHunnam, @HenryGolding, #MichelleDockery, #JeremyStrong, #EddieMarsan, with #ColinFarrell, and @HackedOffHugh. pic.twitter.com/DYacBpAjx8

The film stars McConaughey and Hunnam, with Hugh Grant, Michelle Dockery, Jeremy Strong, Colin Farrell and others.
The Ritchie movie was originally going to be called "Toff Guys" or "Bush." The Gentlemen sounds a lot more dignified
McConaughey plays Mickey Pearson, a weed bigwig living in England who's grappling with his business as enemies try snatching it for themselves.
Henry Golding plays an unnamed character as of now, but has a proposition for Pearson, an "offer." Pearson says, "I'm not for sale."
McConaughey's character has some fun lines, like this one, just before he blows somebody away: "When the lion's hungry, he eats."
A gritty version of Cream's song "Sunshine Of Your Love" plays in the background during part of trailer.
Charlie Hunnam, formerly of "Sons Of Anarchy" fame, puts in what looks to be a stunning performance as well.
The tagline for the MTV film reads: "A very British drug lord tries to sell off his highly profitable empire to a dynasty of Oklahoma billionaires."
"It's really warming up now, isn't it," Grant says in the trailer.
The Gentlemen will be released Jan. 24, 2020.
