Fox News Commentator Claims She Gave Birth To Elon Musk’s 13th Child

It’s hard to know exactly how many children Elon Musk has, but that number is reportedly at thirteen following a shocking admission from Fox News commentator Ashley St. Clair.

The "Elephants Are Not Birds" author recently took to X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter, to announce that she gave birth to his child five months ago.

On Friday, February 14, Ashley St. Clair took to X to claim that Elon Musk is the father of her newborn.

“Five months ago I welcomed a new baby into the world. Elon Musk is the father,” she alleged in a brief post. "I have not previously disclosed this to protect our child's privacy and safety, but in recent days it has become clear that tabloid media intends to do so, regardless of the harm it will cause."

"I intend to allow our child to grow in a normal and safe environment. For that reason, I ask that the media honor our child's privacy, and refrain from invasive reporting,” she added.

In a separate tweet made on Friday night, St. Clair said that she would be “logging off” for an undetermined amount of time in order to focus on her growing family.

“In all sincerity, appreciate the kind words,” she wrote in a brief statement. “Wish I did not feel the need to make a statement. Kids should be off limits for journalists.”

“Will be spending time with my family & logging off for a while,” she added.

Although Musk is very active on his social media platform, he has yet to comment on her post. Although she has over one million followers on X, TMZ reported that even people who don’t follow her are seeing their announcement on their timelines.

At this point in time, Musk has twelve other children that the public is aware of. He fathered six children with his ex-wife, Justine Wilson. He also had three with pop star Grimes and three more with Shivon Zilis, who was an executive at his Neuralink company.

Grimes took to X earlier this week after Elon Musk brought their son to the Oval Office, where the 4-year-old was seen making faces and grabbing his father’s coat during a press briefing.

Their son, named X Æ A-Xii, was present on February 11 to watch President Donald Trump sign an executive order giving the Department of Government Efficiency more power. At the meeting, Musk took questions from reporters and defended the recent controversies surrounding DOGE.

Although it was broadcast live on most cable networks, it seems that Grimes was unaware of her son’s involvement until an X user brought it to her attention.

An X user wrote under one of her posts, "Lil X was very polite today! You raised him well. He was so cute when he told DJT 'Please forgive me, I need to pee.'”

"He should not be in public like this," Grimes responded on X. "I did not see this, thank u [sic] for alerting me. But I'm glad he was polite. Sigh."

Grimes and Elon Musk went their separate ways in 2022 but continue to co-parent three children together: X Æ A-Xii, Exa Dark Sideræl, and Techno Mechanicus. Although they went their separate ways three years ago, she shared a lengthy post on X after Musk made a one-armed gesture that resembled a Nazi salute in January 2025.

"It's absurd that someone can be this canceled for something their ex did before they even heard it happened," she told her followers. "I am not him. I will not make a statement every time he does something. I can only send love back into a world that is hurting."
