Though the couple waited until the new year to share their baby’s arrival, reports from TMZ confirm that Aurora was born on December 28 in Louisiana, coincidentally marking exactly one year since Gypsy’s early release from prison, where she had been serving time for her role in the 2015 murder of her mother, Clauddine “Dee Dee” Blanchard.

Their family kept the news under wraps for a few days, but once it became public, Gypsy’s father, Rod Blanchard, and stepmother, Kristy Blanchard, expressed their excitement. They commented on Ken’s post, saying, “Now we can scream it out to the world.”
