'RHOBH' Teddi Mellencamp Has Another Issue To Worry About Aside Her Surgery For ‘Multiple Tumors’

Teddi Mellencamp has been getting a lot of love and sympathy, but her former housekeeper did not consider the month of love before dragging her to court for serious allegations.

A former housekeeper of the "Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills" alum has claimed that her time working in the star's home was marked by a toxic atmosphere and racially unsafe conditions.

Teddi Mellencamp's latest debacle with Julia Umana comes right after sharing a scary health issue involving her brain with her fans and Instagram followers.

The TV star's former staff claimed she worked as a live-in nanny and housekeeper for her, but the experience was marred by ill treatment from Mellencamp.

Umana alleged that Mellencamp created a toxic work environment by abusing her power. She noted that Mellencamp frequently shortened paychecks, fostered a hostile atmosphere, and engaged in racial discrimination and harassment toward employees.

The former staff claimed the Bravo star overworked her and specifically subjected her to worse treatment compared to other household helpers who were white.

She claimed Mellencamp accused her of stealing and committing theft even though there were cameras in the house. According to TMZ, Umana shared that Mellencamp never made such allegations against a white, blonde employee.

Umana did not stop there; she accused her former employer of mocking her Spanish origin despite knowing she was an immigrant from El Salvador. The former nanny observed that Mellencamp never spoke to other racially white people the same way she talked to her condescendingly.

When the situation became unbearable for Umana, she expressed her intention to quit the job. But Mellencamp was unwilling to listen and instead pressured her to work three 12-hour shifts, only to pay her $325.

She also claimed she complained about the poor pay and was sent away from the job. Umana cited her grievance at being wrongfully terminated and accused the "RHOBH" star of owing her unpaid wages.

Umana requested more than $2 million in damages in the lawsuit, which was dropped amid Mellencamp's struggle to salvage her health.

Mellencamp is not going through her health struggles alone. The reality star's former husband showed up in the recovery room to offer his support. As shared by The Blast, Arroyave updated the fans on his Instagram Story by sharing a video of himself in her hospital room.

In the heartwarming selfie clip, the devoted father spends time with his youngest daughter, Dove. During their interaction, she inquires about his plans to remain with her mother. In a lighthearted response, he jokingly reveals that he would sleep on the armchair for the night.

Arroyave assured Dove that he would keep an eye on Mellencamp after the little girl mentioned that her mother was not fond of being alone. The rest of the video showed the TV star's ex thanking the fans for their prayers and love as he flipped the camera for the fans to get a glimpse of the reality star.

The entrepreneur gave fans more live updates on how the reality star is faring on his Instagram page this time. He dropped a picture of him leaning over her hospital bed with Mellencamp's hand on his head as he penned a prayer to God for her recovery in the caption, partly writing:

"Lord, I lift up @teddimellencamp to You. You are the Great Healer, and I ask for Your healing touch upon her body. Restore her strength, renew her spirit, and let her feel Your comforting presence. Grant her peace, hope, and full recovery. In Jesus' name, Amen."

Fans swarmed the comment section, showering praises on the 47-year-old for his immeasurable support and maturity.

"A real man calling upon the Lord for the healing of his children's mom. Beautiful," an impressed fan penned down. Another user encouraged commenters to be kind to the reality star "as we all need prayers in this life, and she is a mother."

One more fan emphasized that there was still so much love between the former couple, adding that they were earnestly "praying for reconciliation." The entire comment section was elevated with prayers and positive energy.

The Bravo star rained on her admirers' parade when she released a lengthy statement detailing her new health diagnosis on Instagram. Mellencamp disclosed she had suffered from "severe and debilitating headaches" for a while, and she decided to take medical action on it.

"Yesterday, the pain was unbearable and required hospitalization. After a CT scan and MRI, doctors found multiple tumors on my brain, which they believe have been growing for at least 6 months," Mellencamp explained.

"Two of the tumors will be surgically removed today. The remaining smaller tumors will be dealt with via radiation at a later date," she added.

The mother of three referenced how blessed she was "to be surrounded by my children, family, friends, doctors, nurses, and surgeons who are doing everything possible to get me back into better health."
