'RHOBH' Teddi Mellencamp Receives Support From Estranged Husband Ahead Of Surgery For 'Multiple Tumors'

The "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" alum's estranged husband recently flaunted his support for the TV personality through her health scare. Mellencamp underwent surgery to remove two of the "multiple tumors" found in her brain.

Teddi Mellencamp and Edwin Arroyave tied the knot in 2011 and welcomed three children: son Cruz and daughters Slate and Dove. The former Bravolebrity pulled the plug on their longtime union late last year amid infidelity allegations, including a rumored affair with her married horse trainer.

Arroyave showcased his support for Mellencamp on his Instagram Story, sharing a video of himself in her hospital room. The clip, filmed in selfie mode, captured the doting father with his youngest daughter, Dove.

The little girl asked if he planned to stay with her mom, and Arroyave declared the armchair would be his "bed" for the night. Arroyave assured Dove he would watch Mellencamp after the little girl noted her mother didn't like being alone.

Following the cute comment, Arroyave turned the camera around to show his estranged wife on the hospital bed with loved ones watching over her. "Thank you for all the prayers and love for @teddimellencamp," he captioned the post.

Arroyave shared more updates from his time with Mellencamp on his page, dropping a picture of him leaning over her hospital bed with her hand on his head. He penned a prayer to God for the TV personality's recovery in the post's caption, partly writing:

"Lord, I lift up @teddimellencamp to You. You are the Great Healer, and I ask for Your healing touch upon her body. Restore her strength, renew her spirit, and let her feel Your comforting presence. Grant her peace, hope, and full recovery. In Jesus' name, Amen."

Arroyave was not alone in his hope for Mellencamp's recovery, as fans echoed similar sentiments in the comment section. Many penned their love and support for the former Bravo star, while others thanked Arroyave for being by her side.

"So glad to see her by her side during this difficult time," someone noted. Another shared the same view, writing, "Happy to see you joined together during this time. Praying for Teddi and your family." A third added that it was "so good" to see the former couple together, while a fourth labeled him a "good man."

The support for the duo continued, with a commenter noting: "@edwinarroyaveofficial, you're a hell of a good man. Hold those babies so tight. I am so, so sorry. Sending all the prayers you guys' way. COME ON @teddimellencamp."

More Instagram users dropped prayer hands emoji while some penned prayers for Mellencamp.

Before Arroyave's update, Mellencamp shared her shocking medical diagnosis with fans on Instagram. The Blast reported that she dropped the news via a statement, revealing she had suffered from "severe and debilitating headaches."

"Yesterday, the pain was unbearable and required hospitalization. After a CT scan and MRI, doctors found multiple tumors on my brain, which they believe have been growing for at least 6 months," Mellencamp revealed, adding:

"Two of the tumors will be surgically removed today- The remaining smaller tumors will be dealt with via radiation at a later date. I am blessed to be surrounded by my children, family, friends, doctors, nurses, and surgeons who are doing everything possible to get me back into better health."

Days before her health update, Mellencamp marked World Cancer Day on February 4 by sharing a picture of her surgical scar. She revealed in the caption that she had spent years removing 17 different melanoma spots and implored fans to frequent skin checks.

While reflecting on her skin cancer journey, Mellencamp shared that she noticed marks on her back resembling sun spots but did not take them seriously until her condition worsened. "Pretty much throughout the next three years, I think I've had over 20 surgeries," she lamented.

She was diagnosed with skin cancer in 2022 after a mole removal revealed she had melanoma. Despite early-stage treatment, Mellencamp ended up having stage II melanoma, requiring multiple surgeries.

In 2023, she developed new spots and underwent biopsies, but the failed treatment resulted in more surgeries.

Earlier this month, Mellencamp reflected on the end of her marriage to Arroyave on "The Skinny Confidential Him & Her Show." The Blast shared that she confessed to being emotionally distant from her estranged husband long before their divorce.

"I would say probably at the point in time Edwin was ready to start working on it and really change, I probably stopped," Mellencamp revealed. She confessed to feeling "resentment or animosity or fear of ever being open again" and emotionally "checked out" from her marriage.

It was unclear if this emotional distance from Arroyave contributed to Mellencamp's rumored affair with her married horse trainer. However, the media personality implied that her estranged husband's alleged infidelities were to blame, saying:

"It was all the things, and then, you know, there'd be somebody else. And then I'd be like, 'It's OK, I can work through it. I'm going to make him love me more,' you know, whatever it was."
