Tickets to see Beyoncé and her highly anticipated "Cowboy Carter" tour became available for the first batch of presale holders on February 11, 2025; however, it wasn't the smoothest experience for all members of the BeyHive.
On social media, Beyoncé fans expressed their frustration with several things about the ticket buying process, including long wait lines, prices, and lack of locations.

After Beyoncé announced the "Cowboy Carter Tour," popular ticket-buying sites like Ticketmaster began prompting users to sign up for show's presale, beginning February 12, 2025.
At the time of this publication, fans had nine different locations to select from, including Los Angeles, Paris, Chicago, New York, and Washington, D.C.
Beyonce.com members who were subscribed to the singer's newsletter prior to February 3, 2025, were also placed in a separate presale called "BeyHive," which launched on February 11.
Many consumers assumed securing tickets to see Beyoncé perform the "Country Album of the Year" live would be an easy job; however, based on fan reaction, some were in for quite the surprise.

On social media, Beyoncé fans began expressing their frustration about the tour's presale process, citing long lines and ridiculously high prices.
One user shared a photo of the Ticketmaster queue, which had nearly 80,000 fans in it, saying there were too many people in the line for everyone to be able to get tickets.
Another user also chimed in, saying buying tickets for the show in Atlanta, Georgia, was the "hardest thing I ever had to do in my 29 years of living." They continued: "I legit feel like I got my -ss beat afterward."
Other users drew attention to the tickets' resale prices, with one consumer in particular mentioning how her ticket doubled in price after she wasn't able to check out quick enough.
However, one fan said purchasing tickets during the presale was exactly what they expected.
"Are we surprised," they asked. "Buying tickets for concerts have been hectic and expensive for a while now."

The news of Beyoncé's incoming "Cowboy Carter Tour" came right before the 67th Annual Grammy Awards took place in February 2025.
During the ceremony, the "Single Ladies" singer was nominated for eleven awards, three of which she won, including "Best Country Album" and "Album of the Year" ("AOTY").
The singer's win for "AOTY" came after four devastating losses between the years of 2008 and 2022.
After being presented with the coveted award, the singer caught up with Entertainment Tonight backstage, where she expressed her gratitude for the outpouring of love she received from the Recording Academy and listeners worldwide for her genre-bending eighth studio album.

Although Beyoncé's win for "Album of the Year" should've been full of love and praise, the singer was subjected to some negative pushback from fans of Billie Eilish.
Eilish also scored several nominations at the 2025 Grammys, including three for Song, Record, and "Album of the Year" for the track "BIRDS OF A FEATHER" from her project "Hit Me Hard and Soft."
By the night's end, though, Eilish went home with zero, leading her fans to share their unfiltered thoughts about Beyoncé and her album online.
"I'm so mad," one user wrote. "She deserved at least one award."
"F-ck the academy, respectfully," another wrote.

Beyoncé's album "Cowboy Carter" winning Grammy awards for "Best Country Album" and "Album of the Year" took many people by surprise, including the singer herself.
After Taylor Swift announced Beyoncé as the winner, the camera panned to her, which showed the "JOLENE" singer jumping in her seat before looking around to make sure she heard Swift correctly.
Her reaction to winning "Album of the Year" wasn't as animated; however, the accomplishment still meant a lot to the singer, considering she explained how "honored" she felt on stage.
Beyoncé's venture into country music received some negative criticism from others, including "Country Girl Shake It For Me" singer Luke Bryan, who felt the Destiny's Child alum could've gotten more involved in the country music scene before releasing an album.
The negativity continued the night of the Grammys; however, the Recording Academy seemingly defended their choice to award Beyoncé with the coveted award on Instagram.
"On behalf of our 13,000 members and Recording Academy staff that listened to 'COWBOY CARTER': This ain't Texas, this is a Best Country Album and Album of the Year GRAMMY winner!" they wrote in the comments of one of Beyoncé's Instagram posts.
