Bethenny Frankel Breaks Silence On Bathroom Mishap that Almost Cost Her The Super Bowl

Bathroom breaks during one of the year's most anticipated events are a dangerous affair, as seen in Bethenny Frankel's Super Bowl dilemma.

The former "Real Housewives of New York City" alum nearly missed the football championship game between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles after getting trapped in a bathroom.

Like a true social media personality, Bethenny Frankel documented the scary yet hilarious ordeal on her Instagram Story. She took fans on a wild ride from getting trapped to eventually getting rescued and watching Kendrick Lamar's Super Bowl Halftime Show performance.

"You ready for this one? This s—t show!" Frankel began her Instagram Story post about her bathroom situation, holding what appeared to be a broken doorknob. Clearly frustrated, she continued:

"Everyone's watching the game, and I'm texting all my friends, and I'm locked in the fricking bathroom!" 

Frankel noted she did not want to publicize her location and turned to social media to notify those at the Super Bowl watch party in Miami about her situation. She stressed that she had been screaming for help, but there was no response because "the game is on blast."

Someone eventually came to Frankel's aid and could be heard attempting to pry the door open. "They can't get in from the outside either," the former Bravolebrity noted, to which the person off-camera replied, "I am so sorry!" per Page Six.

Frankel's documentary of her bathroom mishap ended with her laughing while holding the broken knob as the person behind the door tried to rescue her. She did not share how she finally escaped the bathroom but revealed she regained her freedom in time to watch Lamar's performance.

The Skinnygirl Cocktails founder raved about the "Not Like Us" hitmaker's show on Instagram on Monday, confessing that she knew Lamar as an artist but not his music. "I was watching the halftime show thinking, 'Who is this?' and I dig that guy's music!"

The rapper's performance resonated deeply with Frankel, who stressed that despite what critics had to say about Lamar's show, she believed it was "awesome." As for why the media personality got stuck in the bathroom, she went in to take a mirror selfie of her game-day fit.

Before sharing the video of being trapped in a bathroom, Frankel flaunted her Super Bowl fit on her Instagram Story. She opted for Barbie doll vibes, rocking a lingerie-style pink top designed with lace and a studded outline.

She paired the cute number with a white layered skirt with studs and completed the look with a beige cardigan. Frankel matched the pink top with glossy pink lips and smokey eye makeup while her hair was slicked back with a middle parting and braided down her neck.

The social media personality accessorized with small hoop earrings, a necklace, multiple bracelets, a chunky ring, and a mini handbag. Her dolled-up Super Bowl fit comes weeks after she addressed her pal Lauren Sánchez's controversial outfit to Donald Trump's presidential inauguration.

Last month, The Blast shared that Frankel had defended Jeff Bezos's fiancée after some criticized her bold wardrobe choice for Trump's inauguration. Sánchez's got people talking by rocking a white Alexander McQueen pantsuit paired with a long white mohair coat.

She matched the all-white theme by donning a provocative lace bra that flashed enough cleavage to rile up the internet. However, Frankel did not understand the hate against her pal's sexy fit, telling fans:

"Why can't Lauren Sanchez show a little cleavage at the inauguration? Trump's seen a boob or two in his day? What does it matter?… Who cares? She went to an event, she has boobs. It doesn't matter."

Frankel further defended Sánchez by implying she could do whatever she wanted because of her fiancé's billionaire status, adding: "Not to mention, your fiancé is Jeff Bezos. It feels like he who makes the gold makes the rules."

Unfortunately, her stance did not sit right with many, who called her out for implying the rich could do whatever they wanted. "It saddens me to hear you so flippantly say, 'He who makes the gold rules,'" an IG user lamented.

Another echoed similar sentiments, writing, "Stop. Just because you can doesn't mean you should. She wanted attention when it wasn't her day. Have some class." A third described Sánchez's actions as "tasteless," while a fourth stressed, "Take the loss, Bethenny. You lose this one, and it's okay. We still love you."
