Aaron Rodgers' time with the New York Jets may be nearing its end, but not everyone is ready to write the NFL star off.
Former teammate Aaron Jones and New York Jets linebacker C.J. Mosley are standing by the quarterback, as Jones believes Rodgers still has more football left in him.
Apart from his football career, Aaron Rodgers also has personal issues to deal with. Last year, the star athlete addressed his long-standing estrangement from his family.

Speaking during Super Bowl week in New Orleans, Aaron Jones had nothing but praise for the veteran quarterback. The former Green Bay Packers player, who spent six seasons alongside Rodgers, made it clear that this is not the end of the road.
"Now, he's really going to have a chip on his shoulder," Jones said, adding, "He's going to go out and show that, 'You guys made the wrong decision. I got a lot of ball left and we're going to be good.'"
According to TMZ Sports, the running back is confident Rodgers will use this setback as fuel, predicting the quarterback will land with a new team and silence the doubters next season.
Despite the uncertainty surrounding Rodgers' next move, Jones remained optimistic, stating, "I feel like he's still got a lot to prove."

Despite talk about Rodgers' future with the New York Jets, it is clear the star player has earned the respect of his teammates.
Joining Jones in defending the 41-year-old is Jets linebacker C.J. Mosley, who also praised Rodgers for his leadership and perseverance during a challenging season. Mosley was quick to highlight the veteran's achievements and impact in the locker room. In an interview, Mosley said:
"He did some great things this year, hitting his 500th touchdown. He was a leader no matter what when he came into the locker room, when he was with us this year. Nothing but respect for him to come back from the Achilles, 40-plus years old."
Bleacher Report pointed out that Mosley acknowledged the season's injury struggles but stressed, "I know the wins and losses can get in the way of a lot of things that you can accomplish, but there's no reason for him to leave New York with his head down 'cause I know he gave us his all."

When the New York Jets traded for Rodgers in 2023, he was supposed to be the missing piece that finally ended the franchise's playoff drought. But things did not go as planned.
Rodgers' highly anticipated debut with the Jets ended after a torn Achilles on the opening drive of the season sidelined him for the rest of 2023.
Fast forward to 2024, and Rodgers made a full recovery, starting all 17 games. However, the Jets stumbled to a disappointing 5-12 record, extending their playoff absence to 14 straight years.
Statistically, Rodgers had a solid year, even if he was reportedly not the dominant force he once was in Green Bay.

Before navigating a turbulent season with the Jets, Rodgers was already dealing with personal challenges, most notably, his fractured relationship with his family.
The star addressed the long-standing estrangement in the Netflix documentary "Aaron Rodgers: Enigma," offering rare insight into a deeply personal struggle.
The Blast reported that Rodgers' disconnect from his family, including his parents, Ed and Darla Rodgers, and his brothers, Luke and Jordan, has been an ongoing issue for years.
A major source of their estrangement appeared to stem from differences in beliefs, like religion. While his parents are devout Christians, Rodgers has been vocal about questioning organized religion.
In the documentary's trailer, which dropped on December 3, Rodgers gives a glimpse into the emotional toll of his estrangement. "Losing friendships, family. It was heartbreaking," he says in one clip. Another voice in the background added, "Rodgers has shared controversial and crazy conspiracy theories."

Although Rodgers initially kept quiet about his estranged relationship with his family, the rift became public knowledge in 2016. That year, Rodgers' younger brother, Jordan, appeared on "The Bachelorette" as a contestant on JoJo Fletcher's season.
During the visit, the family tension was impossible to ignore, as Fletcher met Jordan's parents, brother Luke, and his girlfriend while Rodgers and his then-girlfriend, Olivia Munn, were noticeably absent.
Jordan openly discussed the fractured relationship, stating, "It's just the wayhe's chosen to do life." Luke also chimed in, acknowledging the pain caused by the estrangement.
"It's something we don't really like to talk about a whole lot," he told Fletcher, adding, "It pains both of us like, not to have that relationship [with Aaron] — we miss our brother."
As speculation swirls about Aaron Rodgers' future, at least one thing is sure: his teammates still have his back.
