Chicago Sky standout Angel Reese recently posted about the excitement she felt after allowing her celebrity friends to be in her McDonald's Super Bowl commercial.

During the advertisement breaks for Super Bowl LIX, which occurred on February 9, 2025, the popular fast-food chain aired a special clip of Reese alongside some very special guests, urging watchers to pick up an "Angel Reese Special."

In a series of social media posts, Angel Reese discussed how happy she was to share the special moment with a few people who mean the most to her.

Angel Reese Shares The Spotlight With WNBA Legends

Reese is no stranger to breaking the internet. Ever since squaring off against WNBA all-star Caitlin Clark during the 2023 NCAA national championship game, the basketball player has remained a trending topic.

The conversation around Reese continued in late January 2025 after she announced a new business collaboration with McDonald's.

According to a press release, Reese teamed up with the Golden Arches to inspire younger athletes to continue working hard to turn their dreams into reality.

"I hope the Angel Reese Special inspires young athletes everywhere to never give up on pursuing their dreams," Reese said.

The message of perseverance carried through to the company's Super Bowl commercial for the special meal, which aired on the night of the big game.

In the minute-long clip, Reese could be seen advertising her meal, which is the company's first national collaboration with a female athlete, with the likes of other WNBA superstars, including Breanna Stewart and Lisa Leslie.

Throughout the video, the players battle each other on the basketball court for their own "Angel Reese Special," which is a quarter-pounder burger topped with barbecue sauce and bacon.

Angel Reese Glad She Was Able To 'Put Everybody On'

After McDonald's shared the clip of Reese's Super Bowl commercial, the Bayou Barbie reposted the special video on her social media pages, letting everybody know that she's a "girls' girl."

"Put everybody on," she said, referring to featuring Stewart, Leslie, and rapper Latto in her historic McDonald's commercial.

Later, the basketball player, who averaged 13.6 points and 13.1 rebounds per game during the 2024 season, said she had a say in hand-selecting "all of my [favorites]" before telling her followers that their group chat was "poppin'."

Leslie, Stewart, And Latto Praise Reese For Her Accomplishments

The celebrities who starred in the McDonald's Super Bowl commercial alongside Reese also shared their thoughts about the special moment on their social media pages.

Latto, whose latest album, "Sugar Honey Iced Tea," reached No. 15 on the Billboard 200, gave a big shout-out to Reese on her X page, acknowledging how hard the young athlete has worked over the last several years.

"Always in her bag," she wrote before urging her fans to go get the "Angel Reese Special."

Current WNBA champion Stewart also joined in on the fun, acknowledging her scene in the commercial with Latto in which she tried to score but was denied due to the "Brokey" rapper's presence around the hoop.

Leslie, who won WNBA championships in 2001 and 2002, echoed similar thoughts, writing about how "proud" she was of her "sis" Reese.

Fans React To The Reese Super Bowl Commercial

Reese fans were excited to learn the McDonald's commercial for the "Angel Reese Special" would air during the Super Bowl, considering she featured a few iconic basketball players and rapper Latto.

"Angel always [gives] homage to those who pave the way," someone wrote on X. "If her commercial does not prove it, then I don't know what to tell you."

"I smiled from ear to ear watching that commercial," another fan commented. "Angel is such a REAL ONE! [I] loved seeing her."

Guillaume Huin, the fast-food chain's Senior Marketing Director, also posted about the epic commercial, calling it a "direct nod to the long history McDonald's has with basketball," referencing the company's relationship with NBA icons, including Michael Jordan and Larry Bird.

Reese Shares More About Her Business Deals On Her Podcast

Reese's deal with McDonald's won't be the last partnership the former LSU player snags from a major brand.

In fact, the 22-year-old has kept her followers up to date with the business ventures she's part of with her new podcast, "Unapologetically Angel."

During an interview about the show, the Chicago Sky power forward said the platform would be "another way for me to connect with my fans and reach new audiences I wouldn't necessarily have before."

"I mainly want this podcast to be a place for authentic and unfiltered conversations. Whether I'm sharing insights on basketball, the current trends in fashion, or the latest news in entertainment," she said.

Since the first episode dropped in 2024, Reese's show has aired many more, featuring several influential guests, including Sheryl Swoopes, Dwayne Wade, Lonzo Ball, and NBA superstar Shaquille O'Neal.
