Travis Kelce Reportedly Felt 'Helpless' Hearing His Girlfriend Taylor Swift Get Brutally Booed At The Super Bowl

Travis Kelce was reportedly left heartbroken by the boos directed at his superstar girlfriend, Taylor Swift, during the Super Bowl.

The famous singer had attended the event to support him as his team, the Kansas City Chiefs, took on the Philadelphia Eagles.

Taylor Swift also reacted to the boos with a mocking side-eye glance while muttering a few words of disbelief over the crowd's reactions to her presence.

According to the Daily Mail, Travis Kelce had an emotional reaction to his girlfriend, Taylor Swift, being jeered by some Philadelphia Eagles fans during Sunday night's Super Bowl in New Orleans.

"Travis was aware of Taylor getting booed, and he felt helpless. Seeing the look on her face got to him," a source told the outlet.

They added, "He always protects her, and it broke his heart. He was already having a tough night, and the fact that the stadium was predominantly Eagles fans didn't help."

Although Swift only responded to the boos with a mocking side-eye glance and reportedly mumbled, "Aww what, what's going on," Kelce believes that the incident deeply "hurt" her.

The source also hinted that the boos were spurred by a long-running grudge the Eagles have against Swift.

"It's clear to many that the Eagles fans feel she is a traitor of sorts - being from Pennsylvania and even wearing Eagles gear prior to dating him," they added.

Despite the game not going in favor of her beau, Swift was solidly behind him all through, as seen by her shifting mood in response to the widening scoreline between Kelce's team and the Philadelphia Eagles.

"Taylor Swift began in signature sweetheart mode….she looked as excited and busy as usual in the VIP section, chatting and whispering with one hand over her mouth like a teenage fan," body language expert Judi James told the Daily Mail.

She added, "[But] with her boyfriend's team losing badly by halftime and Travis standing dejected below her…..she gazed out at her lover unsmiling with her hands splayed and gripping the rail in a gesture of grim support."

The body expert also touched on Swift's response to the intense jeers she received, saying she was a "good sport" through it all.

Swift's appearance at the Supper Bowl was not surprising, as the pop star had in the past attended several of Kelce's games.

She also attended last year's Super Bowl, where Kelce's team defeated the Philadelphia Eagles.

According to a source, Swift's actions have only further endeared her to Kelce and she also feels the same way about him.

"He loves that she is super supportive, and he is the same with her, as they got each other's back whatever happens," shared the insider. "They love spending time together but also enjoy supporting each other to make history."

The insider further remarked, "They know when to step back for each other so they can focus and be fully prepared. Their understanding of what each other needs is fantastic."

As their relationship continues to blossom, Swift intends to move in with the Chiefs' tight end.

"Ideally, she and Travis will live together in one home as they start a family. This is no different than any other couple with a family," said a source per the Daily Mail.

For now, Swift seems content with living in Nashville, where she recently relocated due to its proximity to Kelce's $6 million mansion in Leawood, Kansas.

The singer is also expanding her $17 million Rhode Island mansion, reportedly with the intention to start a family with Kelce.

As for the seemingly ceaseless engagement rumors, Swift and Kelce are said to have found it "extremely humorous" and do not plan to make their engagement public when it finally happens.

"These engagement rumors started from day one and they do not know how they can even have a public engagement at this point," a source shared.

They added about the couple, "When the time comes, people will know about it. But they are going to keep some things private and will have elaborate plans in place to ensure secrecy."
