Gymnast Olivia Dunne Sparks Complaints In Skimpy Poolside Bikini

Olivia Dunne stunned fans in her skimpy pink bikini as she enjoyed a poolside moment back in 2020, but her pandemic photo didn't come without drama. Showing off her athletic figure on Instagram, the LSU gymnast dropped jaws with her toned body, flaunting her muscles and her curves, but seemingly angering some fans. While many showered Olivia with praise, some wondered if the social media star had been busy with a Photoshop wand. A few fans even claimed that the alleged editing was shameful as Olivia was promoting unrealistic beauty standards. Olivia, 22, is followed by over 5 million on Instagram.

Going clingy and high cut as she flaunted her curvy hips and super-toned stomach, the New Jersey native modeled a strapless bandeau top, flashing hints of her curves while gazing down. Using one hand to place her hair behind her ear, Olivia drew the eye from her sculpted arms and shoulders to her chest, also showcasing her gym-honed legs in her itty-bitty briefs.

Celebrating swimwear season in winter, Olivia kept summery with a sunkissed face of makeup, also showing off a golden tan. In a caption, she wrote: "NJ in November could never." The post attracted over 400,000 likes, plus a like from Olympic gymnast McKayla Maroney.

That said, not everyone proved a fan. "The Photoshop goes hard," one fan said. Agreeing, another replied: "She's so photoshopped in the midriff. That's crazy That's she's that insecure that she has to lie to people about what she actually looks like." Fortunately, more positive comments came in as one fan said: "Absolutely stunning."

Fast-forward to recently and Olivia is still impressing fans with her swimsuit body. Following her 2023 and 2024 Sports Illustrated Swim features, she updated her Instagram with the above photo last fall. Sunbathing in a yellow bikini as she enjoyed a terrace, she wrote: "No complaints."

“The past few years, juggling NIL or ever since my sophomore year, since the summer of 2021, I’ve definitely had a hard time finding balance,” Olivia told PEOPLE in November 2023 while discussing her social media stardom. "Just having so many eyes on me was such a new feeling, but it was pretty cool at the same time," she added.

Olivia Dunne was all smiles for this birthday shoot last fall as she celebrated turning 22 years old. Rocking a lacy, girly playsuit with a short shorts finish, she grinned from a bedroom decorated with balloons, also popping her champagne bottle as she wore a tiara. "Woke up a lil older #22," she wrote. Fans left her over 500,000 likes.
