Taylor Swift Excludes Blake Lively From Super Bowl Guest List After Feeling 'Used' In Justin Baldoni Feud

Taylor Swift and Blake Lively's friendship may not be as solid as it once was, as the singer has reportedly frozen out her actress friend from her Super Bowl guest list.

This comes after it was revealed that Swift felt "used" and "manipulated" in Lively's feud with her "It Ends With Us" co-star, Justin Baldoni.

Taylor Swift was dragged into the duo's legal tussle when Justin Baldoni claimed Blake Lively used the popstar to pressure him into accepting her script rewrite.

Swift and Lively's friendship appears to be extremely fractured. The actress' legal feud with her co-star Baldoni led to the release of text messages in which Lively called Swift one of her "dragons."

Now, a source close to the pop star has revealed to TMZ that she won't be having Lively as a guest in her  VIP Super Bowl suite, where she'll watch her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, potentially win the championship for a third time in a row.

A different source further confirmed this development with the Daily Mail, telling the news outlet: "Blake is not attending the Super Bowl with [Swift]. Blake has not left the house since this started practically. Taylor wants nothing to do with this trial and court case."

In 2024, Lively notably joined Swift in the singer's suite at Allegiant Stadium to show support for Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs.

At the time, Swift had a packed room that included her parents, Scott and Andrew Swift, Kelce's parents, Ed and Donna Kelce, and celebrity friends such as Lana Del Rey and Ice Spice.

After Lively filed a sexual harassment lawsuit against Baldoni in December, the actor hit back at his co-star with a $400 million lawsuit, which included shocking text messages between him and the actress.

In the suit, Baldoni claimed that during the filming of "It Ends With Us," he was invited to a meeting at Lively's home, where he was seemingly ambushed by Swift and Reynolds.

The meeting was linked to Baldoni and Lively's creative differences, particularly over a rooftop scene in the film, which the actress wanted to rewrite.

Although Swift and Reynolds' presence appeared to be a calculated move to "pressure" Baldoni into accepting Lively's rewrite, sources close to the singer told TMZ that Swift was unaware of such a meeting between the co-stars.

The singer allegedly had no idea Baldoni would be at Lively's apartment on that faithful day and had only attended upon her friend's invitation.

Now, she reportedly feels "used" and "manipulated" by Lively, who described Swift as one of her "dragons" in alleged text messages with Baldoni.

The same source told TMZ that Swift thinks Blake had intended for her to meet with Baldoni.

They also revealed that the singer found it confusing when she learned Blake had referred to her as one of her "dragons" while calling herself "Khaleesi" in reference to the fantasy TV series, "Game of Thrones."

The "dragons" comment appeared in an alleged text exchange between Lively and Baldoni, sent after their meeting.

There is now reportedly tension between the two, despite Swift being the godmother to one of Lively's children, whom she shares with Reynolds.

According to Baldoni's lawsuit, he texted Lively after their meeting at her home to express his appreciation for her rewritten scene.

"I really love what you did. It really does [help] a lot. 'Makes it so much more fun and interesting. And I would have felt that way without Ryan and Taylor," Baldoni's alleged text read, per The Blast.

Lively then replied to his message by comparing herself to the "Game of Thrones" character Khaleesi and saying Reynolds and Swift are her "dragons."

She told Baldoni, "If you ever get around to watching 'Game of Thrones,' you'll appreciate that I'm Khaleesi, and like her, I happen to have a few dragons. For better or worse, but usually for better. Because my dragons also protect those I fight for. So, really, we all benefit from those gorgeous monsters of mine. You will too, I can promise you."

"They are embarrassingly effusive," Lively added in the alleged texts, calling herself the "luckiest motherf-cker on the planet" to have them as her supporters and "most trusted partners."

She continued, "I think they wanted you and me to see how they felt about [the rewrites] because they've been by my side for far too many experiences where I've been overlooked."

According to the Daily Mail, after Baldoni's lawsuit made headlines, a source close to Swift shared that the pop star was "confused" and didn't understand why she was being pulled into his legal battle with Lively.

The insider explained at the time: "Taylor is proud of the film because her music was featured in it, which gave her a sense of involvement, though she wasn't fully aware of the extent of the project's developments."

They emphasized that Swift's relationship with Blake is "purely a friendship, with no interest in influencing or controlling Blake's projects."

"This was the first time that Taylor ever met Justin," the source added of Swift's encounter with Baldoni. "She had no idea who he was and Taylor was simply being polite. She was polite to him as she is to everyone she meets."
