The 2019 Emmy Awards red carpet is well underway, and Game Of Thrones star Gwendoline Christie is turning heads with a major look on the red carpet. The dress is from the Gucci Resort 2020 collection, and fans are quick to point out that it is Lannister red and gold, perhaps a nod to her character, Brienne of Tarth.

Christie is nominated for Best Supporting Actress in a Drama Series for her performance as the Knight of the Seven Kingdoms. Christie earned praise from fans for her performance, but also for the fact that Christie submitted herself for a nomination when HBO failed to do so.

The dress made quite a stir on Twitter, with people basically calling her the second coming of Jesus in this Roman inspired gown. Hopefully this godly get up can bring her good luck with her first (and definitely not the last) nomination!
