Taylor Swift Wants Her Friends Around As She Supports Her Man At The Super Bowl
According to the U.S. Sun, Swift will have several of her A-list friends in her VIP Box at the upcoming Super Bowl.
The pop star is expected to be at the event to "support" her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, who would be gunning for a third straight win of the Lombardi Trophy.
"Taylor would like to have some of her close friends and family all together and be there to show love and support her man," a source said about the "Cruel Summer" star.
The close friends include Blake Lively and her husband Ryan Reynolds, with the former currently involved in a very public sexual harassment suit with "It Ends with Us" co-star Justin Baldoni.
Taylor Swift Is Entangled In Blake Lively's Legal Battle With Justin Baldoni
Swift, who maintains a good friendship with Lively, has been mixed in with the "Gossip Girl" star's legal feud with her co-star Baldoni.
Lively had filed a sexual harassment suit against Baldoni, to which the filmmaker replied with a suit of his own.
In his filing, he accused Lively and Reynolds of orchestrating a smear campaign to destroy his reputation.
He also claimed that he felt pressured by Reynolds and Swift to use Lively's rewritten rooftop scene for "It Ends with Us," referencing how the duo allegedly ambushed him during a crucial meeting to address the on-set issues he had with Lively.
The director also shared texts alleging that Lively called Swift and Reynolds her "dragons" while referring to herself as "Khaleesi," a fictional character from the popular fantasy series, "Game of Thrones."
The Singer Was Allegedly Left Confused By Justin Baldoni's Claims About Her In His Lawsuit
According to the Daily Mail, a source close to Swift revealed that the singer was "confused" after being pulled into Baldoni's legal battle with Lively.
The insider explained: "Taylor is proud of the film because her music was featured in it, which gave her a sense of involvement, though she wasn't fully aware of the extent of the project's developments."
They emphasized that Swift's relationship with Blake is "purely a friendship, with no interest in influencing or controlling Blake's projects."
Switf also reportedly didn't intend to be present during Lively's meeting with Baldoni and simply stopped by to visit her friend but arrived while the meeting was still ongoing.
The source further stated that Swift "finds Justin's interpretation of the encounter perplexing, and those close to her suspect she's being drawn into the situation as a means to target Blake."
"This was the first time that Taylor ever met Justin," they added. "She had no idea who he was and Taylor was simply being polite. She was polite to him as she is to everyone she meets.
Blake Lively Asked For A Gag Order Against Justin Baldoni's Lawyer
Amid the ongoing legal tussle between Lively and Baldoni, she asked for a gag order against Baldon's lawyer, Bryan Freedman.
In her filing, she urged the court to stop the attorney from sharing "inflammatory content to tabloid media outlets that contain multiple false and defamatory statements and character attacks against" her, per Today.
This follows the release of 10-minute behind-the-scenes footage of Lively and Baldoni from "It Ends with Us," in which the duo is seen slow-dancing.
Baldoni's legal team had released the video to challenge Lively's allegations of inappropriate behavior on the film's set.
Judge Orders March 2026 Trial Date For Blake Lively And Justin Baldoni
According to AP News, the legal feud will now be tried on March 9, 2026. A New York federal judge, Lewis J. Liman, fixed the date in a late order earlier in the week.
As part of the order, the judge moved an initial conference for the trial from mid-February to next week.
Both parties will address complaints about pretrial publicity and attorney conduct in the conference, which is seemingly linked to Lively's lawyers' claim that Baldoni's legal team tried to taint potential jurors.
