Disney Star Skai Jackson Unveils Name Of First Child In Matching Ensemble

New mom Skai Jackson shares her joy with the world in a new portrait on her social media!

The Disney star showed off her newborn on the gram in matching color codes to the admiration of thousands of fans.

Skai Jackson confirmed that she was welcoming a baby with her boyfriend last November in an exclusive interview after rumors spread that they were also engaged.

On Sunday, January 26, Jackson took to Instagram to share the heartwarming news of her newborn. Accompanying a touching photo of her gently holding the baby's tiny hands, she revealed the baby's name in the caption, "Kasai."

While she did not provide additional details about the baby's gender or date of arrival, the post was received with love and joy as fans and friends filled the comments with heartfelt congratulatory messages.

"Congratulations baby," wrote actress Lala with a heart emoji. Jackson's mom Kiya Cole wrote: "My little Kasai is the cutest." Rapper JT also showed love in the comment writing: "Congratulations baby girl" as Jackson replied with a brown heart emoji.

Keke Palmer was present with loads of heart-eyes emoji and was joined by the Combs Twins, who dropped a teary-eyed emoji. Rapper Ice Spice also sent her best wishes, writing, "congrats" with a heart-eyes emoji. 

"Omg, Congratulations on this whole new mommy chapter of your life! You are going to be an amazing mom. I love you," this Instagram user declared.

Jackson kept the reveal fashionable in a coordinating green ensemble with her newborn. The post has received over 1 million likes so far.

Jackson's pregnancy announcement might have shocked the world, but the actress described it as one of the most fulfilling achievements of her life.

The Blast reported last November that the TV star revealed her baby bump in a series of pictures for an interview. She sported a stylish combination of a cropped white shirt and baggy jeans.

Jackson expressed her excitement about welcoming her first child with her boyfriend, whose name she chose to keep private. In her words:

"I'm thrilled to begin this new chapter in my life — embracing motherhood and diving into new acting projects. "

Jackson expressed that her heart felt full and noted her wish to be the same fantastic role model her mother, Kiya Cole, was during her upbringing. The matriarch raised the actress as a single mother, strengthening their bond.

She revealed in a previous interview in 2023 that her mom always taught her to stick to her beliefs and stand up for herself while fighting for what is right. " Jackson added, "I thank her for that because, without her, I probably wouldn't have a lot of the confidence that I do now."

Although she watched her mother ace the role perfectly, the actress admitted her concerns about being seen as a positive figure and the pressure that comes with it.

"At the end of the day, I look at myself as the regular person that people just happen to like or enjoy," said the actress, who reminisced about growing up as a popular celebrity.

Jackson stressed that it was crucial for her always to convey the correct message, maintain a positive attitude, and provide valuable advice to her teeming fans who watched her grow from her days as a Disney child star.

The social media influencer continued that she needs to ensure her fans understand they can accomplish anything they set their minds to.

Jackson's resolve to be seen as a positive role model came under the test when she was arrested after getting into a brawl with her mystery boyfriend in public.

As shared by The Blast, the incident went down outside Universal CityWalk in August, and a guard was on duty to provide an eyewitness account of their heated exchange.

The couple denied having a fight when the police arrived at the scene, stating that they were engaged and expecting a baby. However, local authorities arrested Jackson after surveillance footage revealed that she had pushed her boyfriend.

Despite this evidence, the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office decided not to pursue the case.

The actress backed up her claim that all was right by uploading a picture of them on her Snapchat three days after the cops took her into custody. Jackson escaped with a slap on the wrist as the District Attorney's office claimed there was insufficient evidence for a trial.

They also referenced her lack of criminal record and her boyfriend's refusal to cooperate with the authorities as additional reasons for dropping the case. Jackson's partner also incurred no injuries from the event, providing minimal evidence for the D.A.'s Office to investigate.
