The receptionist allegedly facilitated the transfer of Payne to the room instead of ensuring he was placed in a safe area where medical care could be provided.

Payne’s representative, an American national, is accused of abandoning his duties of care by leaving the hotel 50 minutes before Payne’s fall, despite being aware of the singer’s vulnerable state. Prosecutors claim the representative knew Payne was incapable of taking care of himself and failed to act, contributing to the tragic outcome. The representative has since been barred from leaving Argentina.
