Brad Pitt was recently spotted for the first time since officially finalizing his lengthy divorce from Angelina Jolie.
The former power couple, who were married for only two years but shared nearly a decade as domestic partners, settled their divorce after a grueling eight-year legal battle.
While Brad Pitt has stayed largely private throughout the divorce proceedings, insiders recently revealed that his decision to finalize the case may be tied to his plans for the future.
Brad Pitt Seemingly Unbothered Following Divorce Settlement
For the first time since finalizing his divorce, Pitt was spotted stepping outside.
True to form, the Hollywood icon exuded effortless cool, rocking a rugged new look complete with a bushy gray beard, silver sunglasses, a white bucket hat, and a tote bag emblazoned with his initials. Check out the photos obtained by TMZ.
His outing comes after sources claim Pitt was eager to finalize the case as he plans to remarry next year. “They are looking to get married in the next year,” the insider told Daily Mail. “Brad has settled because he wants to keep his children on his side for his new marriage to go ahead. Ines is reportedly eager to start a family as well and encouraged him to resolve everything as soon as possible.”
Angelina Jolie And Brad Pitt Finalize Divorce
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie first crossed paths on the set of "Mr. & Mrs. Smith" in 2003, where their on-screen chemistry quickly translated into a real-life romance. The pair began dating shortly after and eventually tied the knot in August 2014.
Their marriage, however, was short-lived. After just two years, Jolie filed for divorce in 2016, citing irreconcilable differences as the reason for their separation.
According to sources, the divorce resolution brings a sense of relief for Pitt, who had grown weary of the protracted process. Documents obtained by TMZ indicate the settlement did not include agreements regarding the couple's six children, though only their twins, Knox and Vivienne, remain minors.
Angelina’s attorney, James Simon, shared a statement at the time, reflecting on the years-long ordeal.
“More than eight years ago, Angelina filed for divorce from Mr. Pitt. She and the children left all of the properties they had shared with Mr. Pitt, and since that time, she has focused on finding peace and healing for their family. This is just one part of a long ongoing process that started eight years ago. Frankly, Angelina is exhausted, but she is relieved this one part is over.”
Angelina Jolie And Brad Pitt Could Be Headed To Court To Settle Winery Dispute
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s ongoing legal battle over their co-owned French winery, Chateau Miraval, might soon reach a courtroom resolution. Despite finalizing their divorce after an eight-year legal struggle, the former couple remains at odds over the prestigious estate, which has been the subject of heated disputes for years.
While negotiations continue, sources suggest that Jolie may be ready to close this chapter sooner rather than later. An insider shared that the "Maleficent" star has been focusing on moving forward, saying she has "been trying hard to be light after a dark time" and avoids speaking ill of Pitt, both publicly and privately.
The source also revealed the impact the conflict has had on Jolie and Pitt’s children, stating, "The kids have grown up seeing that some people have so much power and privilege that their voices don't matter. Their pain doesn't count."
Despite encouragement from her children to defend herself more openly, Jolie has instead focused on broader advocacy. "She reminds them to focus on changing laws over telling public stories," the insider added.
Brad Pitt's Love Life Continues To Make Headlines

The couple first sparked relationship rumors when they were spotted together at a Bono concert in November 2022. Since then, their connection has grown stronger, with de Ramon reportedly bringing a sense of stability and positivity to Pitt’s life.
Insiders close to the couple have revealed that de Ramon has had a profound impact on Pitt, particularly in helping him move forward from his turbulent divorce from Angelina Jolie.
