Jamie Foxx and his girlfriend Alyce Huckstepp have reportedly broken up after almost two years of dating.
The former couple began seeing each other shortly after his hospitalization in 2023 and were pictured enjoying exotic vacation trips and date nights.
Jamie Foxx's split from Alyce Hucksteppp comes after he was embroiled in a social media controversy for joking that he was "cured" of dating white women.
Jamie Foxx And Alyce Huckstepp Have Broken Up
People Magazine reports that Foxx has split from his girlfriend Huckstepp after dating her for over 18 months. The pair began their relationship in 2023 after the actor suffered a terrible health scare that left him bedridden for months.
During their time together, they proudly showed how much they enjoyed each other's company as they were pictured together during a romantic trip to Mexico in October last year.
Before then, they also stepped out together for dinner with friends at Nobu Malibu, the same spot where they first debuted their romance in the summer of 2023.
Huckstepp was quite the supportive partner as she reportedly joined Foxx on several of his filming projects, including a commercial shoot for BetMGM in July 2024.
At the time, a source told the publication that Foxx and Huckstepp "seemed cozy" on the set of the shoot, while another shared that she was a "great" presence in Foxx's life in the aftermath of his health scare.
The Comedian Joke About Being Done Dating 'White Girls' In A Song
Foxx's split from Huckstepp comes after he was embroiled in a social media controversy for declaring in a song that he'd been "cured" from white women and that he is "back on the black side of town."
The "Django Unchained" actor made the joke in his Netflix special, "Jamie Foxx: What Had Happened Was...," which debuted on the streaming platform on December 10.
Sitting down at a piano, Foxx sang, "Sisters, I'm here to tell you, I've been cured. I've been cured of everything, no more white girls. I'm serious, no more white girls. No more white girls. No more. No more white girls."
As audience members applauded and leaped out of their seats, the Hollywood star continued, "I'm back on the Black side of town!"
"No more white girls. No more potato salad and raisins. No more white girls. No more spray tan, no more big t-tties no a-s, no more white girls," he added, per the Daily Mail.
The Actor's Dating History
Foxx has been linked to several stunning ladies throughout his career, although the actor has never married.
In 1993, he dated Connie Kline, and they both went on to welcome their daughter Corinne Foxx one year later.
The actor started dating actress Leila Arcieri in 2005. In 2008, he began a relationship with Kristin Grannis, with whom he welcomed his second daughter, Anelise.
Foxx was then in a six-year relationship with Katie Holmes from 2013 to 2019 before beginning his relationship with Huckstepp in 2023.
Jamie Foxx Sets New Record With 'Back In Action'
Amid his split from Huckstepp, Foxx has managed to set a record with his new film "Back in Action."
According to Variety, Foxx's comedic action-thriller, which co-starred Cameron Diaz, amassed 46.8 million views in just three days after its release on Friday, January 17.
This made the movie become the most successful English-language film released on Netflix since "The Adam Project," which premiered on the platform in March 2022.
"Back in Action" follows Foxx and Diaz as they play two CIA spies who leave the field to start a family together. However, as soon as their cover is blown, they're forced to rely on old tactics.
Since Foxx's recovery after suffering a stroke, it has been revealed that the actor is "busy" with various projects.
"Jamie is super busy just the way he likes it," the source said. "He has so much going on he barely has time to stop and think about how blessed he is."
What Caused The Actor's Health Scare?
Elsewhere in his Netflix special, Foxx opened up about the "medical complication" he suffered in April 2023, which left him sidelined for months.
The comedian broke down in tears as he recounted the incident to fans, disclosing that he suffered a "brain bleed that led to a stroke" and was unconscious for 20 days.
"I was fighting for my life," he explained. "April 11, I was having a bad headache, and I asked my boy for an aspirin… before I could get the aspirin… I went out. I don't remember 20 days."
The "Project Power" actor stated that he was on the brink of death and went into a coma for several weeks. His first appointment with a doctor saw him receive a cortisone shot, but that didn't alleviate his pain, prompting his sister, Deidra Dixon, to continue seeking medical attention for him.
