James Kennedy and influencer Ally Lewber are moving on as separate entities after the drama about domestic violence. Lewber revealed that they had decided to split and lauded the prosecutors for not going ahead to prosecute her ex-boyfriend.
James Kennedy and Ally Lewber began dating in January 2022, six weeks after he broke off his engagement to his "Vanderpump Rules" castmate Raquel Leviss.
Ally Lewber Confirms Breakup From James Kennedy
Lewber killed two birds with one stone via her Instagram Story post, confirming that things were over between them. The internet personality also cleared the air on what really transpired between them.
The former couple remained housemates after Kennedy was arrested for domestic violence allegations last month. She was, however, spotted moving her things out of their apartment last weekend, further corroborating her account that they are over and done.
Lewber expressed relief that prosecutors have decided to let the reality star go, as she never wanted him to get prosecuted for what did not necessarily happen.
She explains that the arrest was due to a disagreement outside his residence concerning his relapse into drinking. Lewby added that she did not suffer any physical harm during the incident.
The influencer registered her disappointment and shock at the damning headlines that trailed Kennedy's arrest. The concluding part of the statement read:
"We're no longer together, but I'll always stand by James and wish him the best with his sobriety and healing. Thank you for understanding."
What Happened Between The Former Lovebirds?
The Blast shared that authorities apprehended Kennedy on the evening of December 10 after receiving a report regarding a dispute between him and a female.
Burbank police were sent to a residence in the vicinity after the caller alleged that the DJ had assaulted the woman during their exchange. Despite the absence of visible injuries on the alleged victim, police determined that a domestic violence incident had taken place.
Consequently, they arrested Kennedy on misdemeanor domestic violence charges. He later regained his freedom after posting a $20,000 bail.

The TV star has had quite a terrible reputation when it comes to his conduct with women around him. His abusive ways were reportedly outed to producers of "Vanderpump Rules" in the fall of 2023.
An insider who worked within the production team raised alarms with Evolution Media, the company responsible for producing the Bravo show.
They presented a detailed list of allegations regarding Kennedy that had circulated quietly behind the scenes, hinted at in public discussions, or brought up during the show's tapings.
Kennedy allegedly attacked more than one of the women he had been romantically involved with, according to the allegations on the list. Bravo reportedly took swift action to the report by hiring an independent attorney to look into the situation.

The whistleblower was reportedly taken aback when they saw Kennedy carrying on at BravoCon as if he did not just get name-dropped in a serious allegation. The production insider reportedly felt appalled and disgusted by his indifferent demeanor.
Similarly, the whistleblower felt let down by the organizers who had Kennedy perform "You Can Suddenly Become The Number One Guy In The Group," a track inspired by an ongoing joke about the show's hierarchy. The showrunners also presented him with a silly award for "Colloquial Excellence."
The production insider may also never see the results of their efforts to bring Kennedy to book as Bravo gave mixed signals on the outcome of the investigation.
The network unexpectedly dismissed the whole cast of "Vanderpump Rules" last November, just weeks before the star was taken into custody for allegedly assaulting Lewber.
James Kennedy's Past Romantic Partners Hinted At His Possible Guilt Following The Arrest
The entertainer's old flames were not shocked at his arrest as their reaction after hearing about it hinted that they knew what he was capable of.
His former fiancée, Rachel Levis, and ex-girlfriend Kristen Doute shared similar thoughts on the situation through their respective communication channels. Doute shared a screenshot of her ex's arrest on her Instagram story and captioned the post with "Finally."
The pair were in a controversial relationship between 2013 and 2015. Leviss also released a statement through her lawyers, Mark Geragos and Bryan Freedman, that read:
"This news is, unfortunately, not surprising. Rachel's lawsuit describes, in significant detail, Mr. Kennedy's long history of erratic, violent behavior and substance abuse."
James Kennedy is yet to say his bit on his current relationship status with Ally Lewber or react to the prosecutor's decision!
