Dave Chappelle has humorously weighed in on why he never received an invite to Sean "Diddy" Combs' infamous "Freak Offs."
During his return to "Saturday Night Live," the comedian joked that it was because he was "ugly." However, he later offered an alternative explanation, suggesting it might have been due to his "snitch energy."
Dave Chappelle also touched on Sean "Diddy" Combs' current legal troubles, saying he had never "seen anything like this."
Dave Chappelle Claims His 'Ugly' Look Is The Reason He Was Never Invited
Chappelle's return to Saturday Night Live saw him make a series of bold jokes, including one about why he was never invited to Diddy's now infamous hedonistic parties.
The joke, which left many in stitches, featured the comedian claiming that his unappealing look made him unfit to be invited, unlike other Hollywood stars who have been linked to the soirées.
Chappelle added, "I thought about it, I said oh my God... I'm ugly. Everyone in Hollywood had an orgy behind your back, and none of y'all called me? That really hurts!."
In true Chappelle fashion, he flipped the joke on its head, quipping that it wasn't because he was ugly but rather his "snitch energy" that kept Diddy from inviting him.
According to the Daily Mail, the stand-up comic further remarked, "I look like I'll tell. The last thing you wanna see at the orgy is me looking across at you."
The Comedian Said Diddy Is In An 'Enormous Amount Of Trouble'
During the monologue, Chapelle also addressed the trouble Diddy is facing with his sex crime charges, saying the situation was unprecedented in his view.
He said, "I've been in trouble in my day but let me tell you, this guy, Puffy... this guy Puffy is in an enormous amount of trouble, I don't think I've ever seen anything like this. They've got this guy in a RICO case by himself!"
Diddy is currently facing charges of sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation to engage in prostitution, all of which are felonies that could potentially result in life imprisonment for the embattled rapper.
His charges were linked to his "freak offs," which have been described as drugs-fueled sex parties that were electronically recorded by the rapper and also featured female victims whom he coerced into participating.
He remains the only individual to be charged in connection with the case despite several celebrities being speculated to have been involved in his hedonistic soirees.
Diddy's Attorneys Claim' Freak Off' Featured 'Consenting Adults'
Recently, Diddy's attorneys, Marc Agnifilo and Teny Geragos, have slammed federal prosecutors' claims that the women in the rapper's "freak offs" were victims who were drugged and kidnapped women into sexual activity.
It comes after the duo was allowed to review nine videos of the hedonistic parties under the supervision of law enforcement on November 20 and December 13, 2024.
These videos were presumed to have been seized from the embattled rapper when the authorities raided his house last year.
According to Diddy's attorneys, contrary to the claim of prosecutors, these videos prove the rapper's "innocence" as the participants were "fully consenting adults."
"Contrary to what the government has led this Court and the public to believe, the so-called 'Freak Offs' were private sexual activity between fully consenting adults in a long-term relationship," they said in a statement, per ABC News.
Diddy Has Pleaded Not Guilty To His Sex Crime Charges
Diddy has denied all charges against him and intends to prove his innocence at trial. The trial is scheduled for May this year, with the next hearing expected to take place in April.
Following his arrest in September 2024, the music mogul has made multiple attempts to secure bail but hit a roadblock on three occasions.
As part of the bail denial, he was deemed a flight risk, with additional concerns about his potential to intimidate witnesses relevant to the case.
Diddy is also facing multiple sexual assault and harassment civil suits filed by alleged victims. He has denied these allegations and issued multiple statements claiming he has never assaulted anyone.
He remains in custody at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, New York, ahead of his trial.
The Rapper's Mother Allegedly 'Desensitized' Him To Sex At A Young Age
In a new peacock documentary, "Diddy: The Making of a Bad Boy," captured when one of Diddy's close friends alleged that his mom, Janice Combs, threw parties throughout his young life that "desensitized" him to sex.
The documentary also contains other allegations by several individuals, such as a childhood friend, a former bodyguard, and a Making the Band winner.
Diddy's lawyer has since slammed the allegations, noting that the "documentaries include unchecked claims and provide platforms for baseless conspiracy theories without accountability or evidence."
They added, "In the case of the Peacock documentary in particular, the motivations and credibility of those being interviewed must be questioned. Many claim to have knowledge but lack any connection to the truth, while their wild, unfounded theories are cut and sensationalized to appear factual."
