Keep Football Season Alive With A Tour Of Allegiant Stadium In Las Vegas
A tour of Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas is a must for any football fan, or anyone who would love to see some of the behind-the-scenes spots in the arena.
Adjacent to the iconic Las Vegas Strip, the stadium is a state-of-the-art events destination and home to the NFL's Las Vegas Raiders since 2020. This fully enclosed, climate-controlled venue seats 65,000 and hosts world-class entertainment, including concerts, the Pac-12 Championship Game, the Las Vegas Bowl, and UNLV football.
Beyond its events, the stadium significantly impacts the local economy, generating $620 million annually and creating 6,000 permanent jobs in Southern Nevada.
This tour is a football fan's dream come true. While on the informative and entertaining tour, fans get to go into the Raiderette and Raiders locker rooms, visit Raiders' owner Mark Davis' private suite, the Broadcast Booth, and more. And did we mention that the tour ends on the field for some Instagram-worthy photos?
The Hour-Long Tour Starts In The Lobby
As the tour begins, the guides will explain a little about what can be expected and exchange some funny banter with guests. If you're not a Raiders' fan, you just might get teased a bit, but it's all in good fun!
The tour begins at the base of the Al Davis Memorial Torch.
"Mr. Davis passed away in 2011. His son, our owner, Mark Davis, had this torch commissioned to honor his father and the original torch, burned for nine seasons up in Oakland," the tour guide explained to the group. "What you're looking at is one of the largest 3D printed sculptures in the world."
The tour guide also explained how the Raiders ended up in Sin City, starting off by saying he will keep it "short and sweet and give the Cliff Notes version."
"We spent 47 years in Oakland," he said. "At one time, we did spend 13 seasons in L.A."
Experience Artwork, The Broadcast Room, And More In Allegiant Stadium
While walking through the arena to get from one place to the next, there's tons of artwork on the walls to enjoy.
"The amazing Raiders' art collection, includes 400 pieces of artwork from over 100 different artists, and most of them are based right here in the great city of Las Vegas," the tour guide shared. "You're going to see a good 60-percent Raiders' history but a good 40-percent Vegas history, and sometimes maybe a little bit of a mixture of both."
There was also a visit to the Broadcast Room where media sets up to broadcast the games, as well as the Press Conference Room where players and coaches take questions from the media after games.
Guests on the tour got to enjoy a great photo opportunity with the press room podium.
A Look Into The History Of The Iconic Raiderettes
Football fans know how iconic the Raiderettes are, so a visit to their locker room is a must.
Not only entertaining and cool to see up close, there's also a walk down memory lane with a display of their uniforms over the years and photos from the earlier days to now.
The Raiderettes, the official cheerleaders of the Las Vegas Raiders, have a rich history that dates back to the early 1960s, making them one of the longest-running cheerleading teams in the NFL. They are an iconic symbol of the team, showcasing talent, poise, and community engagement.
Over the decades, they have performed at games, participated in charitable events, and represented the Raiders worldwide, building a legacy that blends entertainment and tradition with the team’s storied history.
While on the tour, guests get the chance to see their mirror-filled locker room, the place they get ready to entertain at home games.
The Raiders' Locker Room And A Visit To The Field At Allegiant Stadium
The tour wouldn't be complete without a stop in the football players' locker room. It's certainly a sight to see in person!
Before entering the room, guests were told that no one steps on the logo in the center of the room, not even the players, and everyone was asked to kindly avoid it. A few of the lockers had jerseys and other things out for everyone to see up close.
We won't spoil the cool thing that happens on this part of the tour, but we will say that after being in the locker room checking it all out for a bit, guests are asked to put their phones away for a surprise.
Before the tour ended, everyone was brought to the field for some epic photos. Feeling what it's like to be a football player on the field or a cheerleader on the sideline was the perfect finale to a fun-filled hour-long tour.
