Spencer Pratt Is 'Rebranding' On TikTok

While former reality star Spencer Pratt isn't new to TikTok, he seems to have grabbeda lot more attention in the past week. "Rebranding" because a heartbreaking reason, Pratt has taken over TikTok and gained tons of fans in the past few days alone. And many of his recent videos have quickly gone viral and have many other TikTokers talking and trying to help him out.

After Pratt and wife Heidi Montag lost their home to the Los Angeles wildfires, he took to TikTok to document the tragedy.

In one viral video, he shared one of his "favorite things" about his house burning down.

"You know one of my favorite things about my house burning down? Ever since 2010, when 'The Hills' was canceled, everyone on social media and Google I've ever read about myself is I'm a broke nobody," he said while walking on the beach. "But then it takes all of our possessions and our house burning down and now in all my comment section, everyone's just like, 'What are you crying about? You're a rich celebrity.' My gosh, my gosh, what a rebrand."

Before and after that video are many others about his house burning down and needing to start over from scratch. One thing Pratt has successfully done through his videos is get his wife's song streaming on many platforms to help them rebuild their lives. Tons of other TikTokers, including celebrities, have joined in on the quest and have been posting videos using Montag's song, "I'll Do It."

With The Threat Of TikTok Being Banned, Many Are Moving Over To RedNote

Here's a lesson in "where there's a will, there's a way!"

There are tons of funny videos capturing what it's like to move from TikTok to the Chinese based app, RedNote.

TikToker, Allie O'Brien, shared a video about what it's like trying out RedNote that quickly went viral.

She read some comments about what it's been like for American users on the Chinese app, starting off with, "American TikTok users installing a Chinese app, RedNote, directly on their phone because of the TikTok ban is hilarious." She then read some other comments that tell more of the story.

"Welcome, we've been waiting for you so we can continue our job as a Chinese spy. I thought I lost you guys. Enjoy RedNote," one comment reads. Another laughable comment is, "Congratulations American government. Instead of passing a broad sweeping data protection law, you created a scenario that bans the most popular app which has led for Americans to mass download the Chinese version of TikTok that is programmed in Mandarin."

She also explained the "Extend The TikTok Deadline Act" and how that will give Congress 270 days to make a final decision on the app and how viewers can help.

"I love Rednote so much already. It’s like a mix between TikTok, insta, twitter, Pinterest, and Amazon. I just gotta learn a little Mandarin," one viewer wrote in the comments. Another added, "The recipes on Rednote look divine & the cat videos are plentiful. I get lost scrolling for hours. I use the translate button, it's been fine."

Is Tom From MySpace Back?

For social media users who were online during the MySpace era, there's been some nostalgia brewing on TikTok.

No, it's not really Tom from MySpace, but social media lovers watching the video were hit in the feels and took to the comments to share their funny commentary on Tom Behmer's video captioned, "Tom from MySpace here. A lot of you have been asking for me to come back and save the day. I'd love to but I'm still just wearing a white t-shirt and taking notes. I have no other skills. Sorry."

"HEAR ME OUT - MyTok, it's like MySpace and TikTok had a baby," one viewer hilariously wrote in the comment section. Another added, "Tom from MySpace showing up in the last days of TikTok *HAS* to be some kinda sign…."

Some reminisced about the days of MySpace, bringing back fond memories from an unforgettable time online.

"Having a top 8 would cause the drama I need in my life," one person said. Another shared, "MySpace helped me reconnect with my brothers after getting separated in foster care. Bring it back please." And one other viewer wrote, "You bring back MySpace right NOW and let us still be able to copy this html codes for our backgrounds and TOP 10 friends w/the music."

Great Grandma Is Pregnant!

For one TikToker who found out her family was growing, the shockwaves sent her video into viral status super fast! In less than two days, her video received more than 34 million views and tons and tons of comments and questions.

"POV: My 76-year-old great grandma pregnant," is written across the video that shows her great grandma in a hospital bed being told that she's expecting.

In a follow up video to update viewers, TikToker Miyah shared that her great grandma is due in July. She added, "Stay tuned for the gender reveal and the baby daddy!"

Cue the funny comments!

"Terrorist attacks, wildfires, Trump the president and now great grandma pregnant! LAWD ARE U LISTENING??" one person comically wrote in the comment section of the update video. Another viewer added, "This need to be a whole TLC series."

With the state of TikTok's future lingering, one viewer wrote what many are probably thinking, "This can’t be the TikTok cliffhanger, if we don’t see you again safe delivery and great memories to you."

'We Laugh So We Don't Cry'

When life gives you lemons, make lemonade, or something like that. (Or maybe in Sara's case, orange juice.)

For TikToker Sara, the unimaginable happened - she lost her house and everything in it during the LA wildfires. She took to the app to share her experience of going back to her home after it burned down. She shared her tragedy with some humor, and her video quickly went viral with more than 59 million views in a few short days.

"Hey guys, welcome to my crib," she said as she stood near what was left of her home. She then walked over to the BBQ grill that somewhat survived the fire, before walking over to her firepit to say, "We could light a fire, but as you see, we already have one back here." She then walked over to her orange tree and took an orange off of it, before walking over to a table to eat it.

"We laugh so we don’t cry," one person wrote in the comments. Another said, "The orange tree is kind of a miracle." Another viewer shared, "I love Gen Z so much for never being serious." One other viewer could relate saying, "As someone who also copes like this, I’m so sorry."
