Ben Affleck's home had a surprise visit from FBI agents and LA County Sheriff's deputies as wildfires continue to destroy the Southern parts of Los Angeles.

Ben Affleck also recently settled his divorce with ex-wife Jennifer Lopez, who is understood to have reached out to him amid the ongoing wildfires.

On Sunday, FBI agents and LA County Sheriff Department officials visited Affleck's "Bachelor's Pad" home.

According to the Daily Mail, it is unclear whether Affleck was at home when the visit occurred. The agents stayed at the gate for a while but seemingly received no response.

They appeared to have also used the call box next to the actor's gate, but it never opened. The agents then walked up to the gate, possibly to call over it, but that also didn't bring any success.

However, TMZ reports that the actor is not in trouble as the agents only came to investigate a collision between a drone and a firefighting aircraft.

Affleck's house was left unscathed by the wildfires, with a source sharing that the actor is "grateful" his property wasn't burned down.

He initially fled to Garner's home for safety last Tuesday but returned the next day, possibly to check on his home, after learning it was still standing.

"Ben's home is still under evacuation order, but he feels so grateful his property is safe for the time being," a source told Page Six. "Ben knows many people who unfortunately lost their homes. He has seen a lot of devastation, and it's beyond tragic. … Ben is reaching out to anybody he can to help."

Meanwhile, Garner shared that the casualty from the blaze hit close to home, revealing in a chat with chef Jose Andres and Katy Tur for MSNBC that she "did lose a friend who did not get out on time."

Affleck's ex-wife, Jennifer Lopez, has reportedly contacted him amid the tragedy that has befallen Los Angeles.

Reports claim the "Maid in Manhattan" star contacted Affleck to support him. She was "worried and concerned" for his safety after learning that his neighborhood was among those forced to evacuate due to the fires.

A source told Page Six that she "reached out as soon as she heard about Ben's home possibly being in danger and that he was evacuated" to know how he was faring during the "whole ordeal," as well as to assure him that "she's there for him and the kids."

"She offered her support for whatever they need," the source explained, adding that Lopez has offered "assistance in any way she can."

Affleck bought his new home for $20.5 million in July 2024, the same day Lopez celebrated her 55th birthday.

The pair were embroiled in rumors of marital woes at the time before Lopez decided to file for divorce in August, citing "irreconcilable differences" as the cause of their split.

After Lopez and Affleck's divorce settlement, an insider revealed to InTouch that the former lovebirds never intended to "get petty" with each other and plan to remain friends.

"Jennifer and Ben are officially divorced, and the only bright spot is that they never got ugly. Many thought that their lawyers would do the nasty nitpicking on behalf of each of them, but they both decided to leave the marriage as amicably as possible," the source told the news outlet.

The insider further noted that while "there was a lot at stake," the former couple were determined not to fight over their assets.

"Ben and Jennifer were not about to nickel and dime each other, they respected each other way too much for that," the source noted. "I'm not saying that it never crossed their minds, it just wasn't worth it. They have too much history together. They actually parted as friends."

Affleck reportedly has "no plans" to attend the 2025 Sundance Film Festival, where Lopez's film, "Kiss Of The Spider-Woman " will premiere.

Although the actor also worked on the project as a producer, a source told the Daily Mail he would skip the event because he knows "his appearance would mean the focus is not on his artwork."

"Ben worked hard on the film and it is something he is proud of, but he knows that if he goes to Sundance, his appearance will mean the focus is not on his artwork but rather, it will be focused on his interactions with his ex," the source said.

The insider noted that Affleck has "completely moved on with his life" and wouldn't want "his work to be overshadowed by his past relationship."
